Real Property Management is the worst company I’ve dealt with in my life. I’ve had 14 rental home and a variety of managers but they’re at the bottom. I had two homes in Colorado Springs I hired RPM to manage when I moved out of state. They have a very professional website, appear to be part of a reputable nation-wide chain, and make an extremely effect sales presentation to get you to sign. However all of that was nothing but a façade. I learned the hard way that this company was only telling me half-truths and misrepresenting facts to fleece me. I have several examples but let me share the most recent one. RPM said I had $ 5,500 worth of repairs needed to a condo I own and after complete, I’d be able to raise the rent from $ 900 to $ 1,000. I didn’t renew with RPM and got a new property manager. The new company contracted for $ 543.23 in repairs and cleaning and then rented it within two weeks for $ 1,100. Since RPM only used their preferred contractor and refused to get even a single second estimate, I think we all know where the extra money was going.
