This is the only place I go for tires. Great local shop with a careful and knowledgeable staff, and the owner is a car enthusiast. His prices are competitive with the chains but every customer is taken care of like you are a friend and neighbor. No canned responses, each customer is evaluated as a unique case and the recommended services and tires are geared to the best value. This is an automotive treasure and Colorado Springs is lucky to have such service. Oh, and if you have an air cooled VW they probably have your 14 or 15 inch tires in stock.

Traveling from out of town, had flat tire on our Honda CR-​V. Went to closest repair shop about 11:45 am, they had no one available and referred me to Rex Tire. Rex Tire was busy at Noon, said 1 to 1 ½ hours, we left car, went to lunch, came back in 45 minutes. It was done, fixed hole (no sign of nail or ??), and no charge. They do that as a service. So pleased. This is just the kind of shop I would come back to to buy tires. This appears to be the kind of shop you can trust..

If you want quick and yet cheap service, this tire place is it! Had a flat, they checked to see if it could be repaired, unfortunately couldn’t but we’re able to set me up with a excellent condition used tire for only $ 40! Definitely will recommend!!!

Rex Tire is the place to go for tires in this area. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. They treat each person as their most important customer. Their prices are highly competitive and you can’t beat their service. Always honest, professional, courteous. Owner run and it sure makes a difference.

Just before my trip to 4wd in Ouray I discovered a nail in my tire at 3pm. I called Brian and Travis at Rex Tire and they said bring it down and they would have it done before closing. When I got there they were totally full, but by 5pm the tire was repaired just as they had promised. This is a family owned shop that still operates on giving the best in class customer service… you cannot go wrong with them!

Great Service!
Over the summer I had to back tires of my car replaced. I got done with work late, but they let me drop my car off after hours and had someone at the shop waiting and stored it inside their garage. I have a more obscure car, but they knew the idiosyncrasies of it, so I didn’t have to explain anything for them to work on it.
I was also going to be out of town for the week and they stored the car there free of charge and hassle free
