We just stopped in for few quick beers and pinball on New Year’s Eve… but if we hadn’t had plans to get back to in Denver that night, I would have loved to stay and ring in 2016 with these folks. It’s clearly a «regulars» hangout but, unlike most spots with that vibe, it’s warm and welcoming. The few regulars in the bar made it a point to include us in conversation and make us comfortable and the bartender(s) had me laughing so hard my side hurt. Also, as a self-acclaimed arcade aficionado, I can say that for a tiny little bar, the selection here is good and the games are in excellent condition. Overall, I can’t say enough nice things about this place and we will definitely make time to stop by when we make it back to the springs. Thanks for a great time, SuperNova!

We come here a lot and we love it! The bartenders(all beauties! The owner here is a smart one!) are so sweet and fast. They acknowledge us instantly EVERYTIME. We bring the kids here in the afternoons sometimes so that they can play games while we enjoy a pint. The food is pretty lousy, but it is a bar! They have all the old school games and play sports when they are on. There is a jukebox for dancing if you want, and they host trivia sometimes. Try this local joint!

If you’re in the Colorado Springs area, stop in and check this bar out. I love the unique concept with the video games from like the 1980s. The food is very good, considering it’s a bar. The staff and bartenders are extremely friendly and make you feel like you’re not only a regular, but part of the family. Drink prices are reasonable as well. There is an outside seating area for smokers. I don’t smoke but in case someone else reading this does. And a pizza joint next-door as well that delivers to the bar. Parking can be hit or miss but that’s typical for a vacation type of city. I’ve been here on three different trips, and on all days the week and and it’s always fun. Even though it’s a young crowd and I’m in my 50s, I always have a great time!

After receiving a «tall boy» of PBR i was rudely interrupted by the bartender to drink a «Michael s.» A sugary, cough syrupy drink that no person should have to drink, it was a cosmic let down that was more terrifying than an intergalactic void. While watching the«football game» I was surrounded by «masculine» men i.e. Carl, and realized that I was in a place that could not serve my needs. When I’m looking for PBR it needs to be taller than the one I was served at supernova.

When your night is at the farthest reaches of darkness … after the other bars have closed … and life is about to go terribly wrong, prepare for Supernova … a cataclysmic explosion of 80’s video games, oppressed drinks, and male bonding. Supernova was our fifth bar of the night … and far from super. The games were fun. The drinks were cough syrup. The crowd was masculine. I felt like a compressed neutron star as I said no mas to Supernova and floated out in search of less cough, less syrup, and more alcohol. You probably won’t plan your night for Supernova, but at the edge of drunkenness, it will envelop you like a medicinal-flavored black hole. Bring quarters for a journey that begins where everything ends.

Fun place for drinks and games. Decent priced drinks and always a good beer or cocktail special. They have food, but I have not ventured down that path. Games are old, but always fun to play. Good mixed crowd of people. Bartenders are nice and helpful.

I have never been more of a fan of any place… The drinks are cheap, service is amazing, and everyone treats you like you belong. Internet-enabled jukebox and 25¢ arcade games make me want to come back, plus the 45¢ wings on Wednesdays are delicious.

This place is truly amazing! Wanted a good night in the town and that’s what we got! Enjoyed my time on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and a few of our buddies. Great drinks, old school games, and the variety of music played! Super chill, friendly people all around! Not too busy, but not boring either. If you’re looking for a good night out, I’d recommend this joint! :)

Interesting space. Never been a fan of families bringing their kids to the bar, but if that’s your fancy, this place is for you. 3 stars because of friendliness and Tecate + Lime :)

Finally got to try this place out, and thought it was pretty cool. Smaller than I had anticipated, and it was tucked off away from the usual downtown chaos on Tejon. As expected, the bar walls were lined with old arcade games, but the funny part was, I did not see one person playing the games while I was there for a few hours at least on a busy late night. Was pretty packed, but not overpowering for a typical, small bar. Crowd varied from techies, to online gamer types, and also saw a few business folks come in, probably there for the same reason I was, which is to get away from the norm of what downtown bars have to offer. Definitely a plus! Drinks were ok, not amazing, but good enough to do the trick. HUGE plus on the music selection, which was hipster alternative, indie type rock. I’d have to say that the music is what would bring me back, but overall, a pretty fun place to have a drink in a different environment than the others downtown. I’ll be back.

They have Street Fighter 2!!! I’m the strongest woman in the world! There’s a nice assortment of old arcade games and cold beer along with typical pub food. There’s lots to love about Supernova.

Kind of neat in an 80’s video arcade sort of way. Definitely in a great spot downtown, parking is always a cinch. Mostly novelty value though. Co-located with a pizzeria that looks to be pretty good.

This place is really fun! It’s got a great crowd of regulars. Lots of retro games you can play, be prepared to lose your parking meter quarters for the next month here. Totally fun. Some of the bartenders are really cool, some aren’t. Some pour drinks that taste like vodka and some pour drinks that taste like soda. I prefer vodka. The bathrooms are painted with chalkboard paint and you can write on them which is really, really fun. I’ve never had the food so I can’t comment on that. Some nights they do last call at 1:30, but last Friday they were putting all the chairs up and turning the lights on and shutting down the patio at 1:15 which was a huge bummer. I love this place but It’s a little inconsistent.

The bartenders were really fast and attentive. Food was meh, I mean, bar food. The ambiance was really fun. We played Pacman and Mortal Kombat #tbt

This place is super fun! They packed that place full with as many games as they possibly could. Sometimes the games take your money, but I’ve never had a problem getting my quarters back. I usually go on taco Tuesday. The tacos are only a dollar, so I can’t complain about their quality. The bartenders are nice enough and the bouncers are always down to chat if you’re outside grabbing a smoke. If you’re into bar Cade’s this place is your spot!

I will now be moving out of my house and living in the back of Supernova. I effing LOVE this place! came here on a whim last night and I can say that it’s my favorite bar in Colorado Springs. This«Arcade» bar has some really great classics such as Mortal Combat, Pac Man and Galactica. But one of my favorite things about it is the Juke Box. It has online access to thousands of songs allowing you to listen to absolutely everything. And what’s even cooler is you can pay just a little bit more for your song to be played next! The crowd in here is like one that I’ve never seen anywhere else. It seemed like it was mostly 30 and under, allowing me to feel at home. Now some may not understand, but I love any place where locals are and soldiers are not. I do not care for the testosterone and this place has none of it. I didn’t have a chance to try the food but I had just eaten before coming in or else I would have for sure. The beer selection was great! they didn’t have too much on tap but they have tons of local beers from Left Hand, Bristol, New Belgium and a few others that I was too intoxicated to remember. They also have JELLOSHOTS!!! Now this may seem disgusting or immature for you snobs. But I could care less and you can go elsewhere. I ate more than I care to remember. But damn were they good. The service here is top notch, the bartenders are absolutely awesome and hilarious and this place will now become my go-to for as long as I’m in this city.

Supernova, what a rad place! Small bar and grill with a bountiful selection of 80’s and 90’s video games most of which are still just a quarter! The draft selection is very limited, but they know a thing or two about beer. They offer a selection of Colorado craft beers from greats such as Avery, Bristol, and Ska. Amber(the owner) was super sweet and hooked my friends and I up for my birthday. Amber(the bartender) was sassy, fun, and she was really quick which is always a plus. The only thing that was a bummer about Supernova = some of the games were not working, or working well(on Ms. Pacman couldn’t go up. And getting it up is highly important). Area 51 was broken… I really wanted to kill some aliens!
