I am so mad I can’t see straight. On JUNE1st I booked. I had to wait until August 7th(tonight) to get an open night. I have 6 people coming for dinner and no food. I called to confirm the menu several weeks ago and it didn’t occur to me that I hadn’t heard back, so I called again this week to confirm the menu, date and so on. No reply. I called this morning. Nothing. Finally this afternoon I called again and was told«He told me to tell you he doesn’t have a chef, that’s why he didn’t call you back. He can’t do it tonight.» I am appalled at this! That is precisely why he SHOULD have called me back! He wasn’t even brave enough to talk to me himself because he was supposedly busy with the lunch rush. At 2:00PM. Because we all know his restaurant is crazy busy at 2PM. I am aware this is a rant. I’d go on, but apparently I need to create dinner for 8 and leave work early. Lovely.

I gave the House Chef of Colorado Springs a try using Groupon. After it was all said and one, it still ended up costing me over $ 130 for the meal which consisted of one of the«Chefs» coming over that personality of a turnip and watching him dump frozen vegetables out of a bag into a pot, roux out of a can, and using instant rice. The only enjoyment out of the meal was the laugh my guests and I got after it was over. It was a horrible train wreck of a meal, not because anything went wrong, but because the whole meal was wrong. There was NO table side manner, NO engaging with my guests, and NO good tasting food. We order pizza after the meal.
