Awesome selection of vintage clothing though I find the prices to be quite high for t shirts I can find new at the same price. I also found that the vintage clothing merchandise doesn’t seem to move much as the dresses I had seen 4 months earlier were still in the same place and at the same price(this is not the«top shelf vintage» section either). On the note of top shelf vintage, I find this to also be cheap trick to get the consumer to think they should pay more for something from the 70s when it’s not actually in fashion. The prices are purely based off of an eBay search. I felt a little scammed buying a gunne sax for $ 80 that I have found at a goodwill for $ 8. It’s like buying a dress for prom, you might wear it once and you really hope the price is worth the buy.(also beware of «vintage» that isn’t vintage”, there are a few in there).

This store kicks ass! We made sure to stop by during our trip to Colorado because we love supporting independent record stores. The owners are quite delightful and the store is jam packed with unusual and fantastic finds from vintage vinyl to clothing and collectibles. We could’ve spent the entire day there! As a bonus, the owner labels all the records to make the artist/title/price very visible. I love that! Highly recommended to all! As the sign said the day we were there, «s’not the same ol’ boring tourist crap!» We will be sporting our Keep Colorado Springs Lame sticker in Texas!

I really do love this place, of the handful of record stores in town, this one is the coolest. The owner Adam Leech is scary knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to answer questions. The record collection isn’t the biggest, but whats there is good stuff usually, and their condition is honestly represented. Not to mention the rest of the store has cool vintage clothing, old Nintendo games, just a very cool place. My one and only complaint; don’t go here thinking you’ll get a bargain on records, Adam is very savvy, you won’t find much cheaper than eBay pricing, but there can be exceptions.

Staff is great-husband and wife. Vintage clothes provide some nice finds and other neat collectables bring back memories. But, since opening at new locale, vinyl prices are ridiculous though they claim to be competitive. Often find same exact records at other local & Denver record stores for 50−100% lower prices let alone what you can find them for on EBay, Discogs, Gemm, Music stack, etc.(I am a 35+ year vinyl collector with thousands of albums in & out of my collection so not a novice by any means). As a small mom & pop local business with 2 personable owners, I still try to support them when I do find a fair-priced album my collection lacks.

Cool little place to find alot of vintage items. I personally go there for the record collection as it is normally restocked pretty often and priced fairly. You can definitely find some gems in there stock I can promise that.

Every year we make the trip, and every year I’m elated(except for last year, where we were devastated that the Leechpit had temporarily closed!!!) Back to elation, now that we know it is back in business, and cannot wait to see the new digs! As someone who has traveled 12 hrs to go to a record store I can say this place has it all: rare 80’s and 90’s garage? first pressing punk? cool swampy blues and folk? Yes, yes and yes! plus, the vintage items are boss — did I mention the owners? Very cool folks, knowledgeable and willing to shoot the shit. I’d spend a million bucks here just to keep them in business. Essential — nothing less.
