Cant say enough good things about this place. Great food, great drinks, and great service. This is our new go-to bar! We live in Fountain and this is worth the drive. I will say the thing i dont understand was the mismatch between the the music being very loud(top 100 songs), very bright lights in dinning room, and the tables being set up elegantly with table cloth and other touches. I think different music with dimmer light would help, or change the tables to no cloth and simpler settings.

Went there a few co-workers over the weekend. I was embarrassed and disappointed. We had to look for our server to place our order. Unable to find her the hostess took our order. When we received our drinks we asked for additional ice which took awhile to receive. Once our order arrived we never saw our server again. A different server dropped off our check without asking if we wanted another drink or dessert. We than ordered desserts to go. The Check came from a different server and it was not itemized by person. We grabbed another server on her way by and asked for it be corrected. She returned with the corrected bill but never came back. We eventually walked to the bar to pay our bill. When leaving we saw the owners and employees smoking by the front door. Not impressed. Will never return or recommend this place.

We were looking for a new place to try and found The Wobbly Olive on the Internet. We started our meal with the grilled asparagus and then ordered the chicken & waffles, mac & cheese and sea scallops. We finished off with the brownie dessert. Everything was heavenly! The flavors were unique and the food was well prepared. They definitely have a first-class chef and we will add this place to our list of favorites.

Stopped for tapas… and the Olive didn’t let us down! Bacon-wrapped dates… ohhmyyy!!! Rabbit tacos were very tasty! And the White chocolate banana crème caramel(flan-like) was simply amazing! Atmosphere is very hip and stylish… good for dressy or simply casual! Gangs of New York whiskey cocktail was a hit, as well as the Lavender Mint soda! See ya soon, Olive… stay wobbly!

Ate at the Wobbly Olive on 3⁄19 and meant to post a review then. My wife and I wanted to try something different and found ourselves there. I called ahead to see how busy the restaurant was around 5:30pm. I was told there was a wait, but I didn’t place a reservation as we had some business in a couple neighboring shops. Poked my head in about 6:15 pm and the place was about ½ capacity; so we grabbed a table. The host ay the entrance was distracted by her cell phone and we stood at the podium for about a minute before she realized someone was standing there. The service was very slow at first. We waited about 20 minutes before being acknowledged by our server. I asked for water, my wife ordered a «Dirty Oaxaca». As the menu stated, the drink was savory, but very strong. She stuck to water after one drink. The service improved after the first table touch. We ordered the fried goat cheese as an appetizer. 3 fried cheese balls came out on a plate. The order was small and somewhat pricey for the size. We both paid close attention to orders that came out at other tables. Other tables received 4 cheese balls, not 3. They were delicious, however we were put off by the noticeably smaller portion we received compared to tables around us. I’m a sucker for Mac n Cheese; my wife scallops. My meal was good, not excellent. She was very satisfied with her scallops. My experience may have been soured by the service and appetizer delivered to our table. We got out after a 2 hour dining experience unsure what to think. We’ll give them another chance eventually.

White chocolate raspberry martini is delicious, it could be a dessert all in itself ! The lavender lemon drop is really good too. The Elyx Pineapple Express was not for me. I found it to be a bit cough syrup like. The wobbly wings had a great kick to them. The devils on horseback was the best thing ordered! The service was great !

I had the original old fashioned and a dirty martini. Bar tenders were professional and complimented my requests to try little nips of their bourbons without charge. My wife THOROUGHLY enjoyed the«Pineapple Express»(I’m not into fruity drinks but it was pretty damn delicious). We will be going again for the quality of the drinks alone!

I’m torn between 3 or 4 stars, I wish Unilocal would let you do halves. The poutine was heavenly. The perfectly crispy potatoes and truffle gravy paired so well with each other. The calamari was the most tender Ive ever had, tasted really fresh. Our server came around often, was very helpful and polite. It’s loud. The industrial style of the place makes people’s voices louder. Annoying table of people laughing like hyenas across the way –_– not the restaurants fault obviously. But I imagine it would still not be a calm dinner atmosphere without that party. Just a heads up if that’s the kind of evening you’re going for. We also got the Bacon Cracker plate. Croustini with jelly, 2 pieces of thick slices bacon and avocado crema on a bed of arugula. Oh and a fried quail egg. It tasted like breakfast. Some people might find this really good but just not my tastes. Strange mixture of flavors. Chicken and waffles were sweet, that was basically the only flavor. They use dark meat which I wasn’t expecting. Didn’t finish. They gave us a free round of a shots for my friends birthday, a really nice gesture. But when I asked the bartender what it was he said, «it’s good.» and walked away. I’d like to know what I’m drinking please. And all 3 of us agreed that it wasn’t good. Tasted like Robitussin. Whatever, it was free and I guess it’s the thought that counts with that one. So, 2 of the plates were amazing and the other 2 bleh. Our server was great but I was put off by the bartenders response to a simple question. Atmosphere was cool but really loud. You can see why I’m torn. Probably be back but not after we check out some of the other new spots in the area.

Drinks are very expensive and the place is way too loud for dinner. Definitely a bar atmosphere. The food was okay but not much more. Spring chicken was under seasoned and boring. Sirloin tips were decent but had a weird contrast flavor, capers or peppercorns. Not sure how they did it but my pint of Guiness was ruined somehow. Worst tasting Guiness ever and not sure it was a real pint. Some kind of trick glass made to look like a pint but not Did I mention it was extremely loud in that place?! Sorry, this one is a miss altogether. Service was good, waitress was perfectly nice and happy.

Second review update: My original review was so long I had to delete it :) which is ok because the entire experience was a 180 from the previous experience. My original review contained issues with bussing some dishes(my husband did it himself eventually), a low pour with a few drinks(measured or not getting a pour that isn’t «hefty» bums me out), the music got quite loud so I couldn’t enjoy our conversation very well. The food was very good but we felt a ignored at times by the bartender. We did look forward to returning though because their happy hour is well priced and we love that when it will be warmer we can enjoy cigars outside. Martinis and cigars are one of our favorite pastimes. UPDATEDREVIEW: My first compliment is to the manager herself who took the time to respond to each of my issues/compliments on my previous Unilocal review. We returned sooner than we perhaps would’ve because of the response. We went again this past Friday for happy hour and were again greeted warmly by all staff. The same gentleman bartender(I am so sorry I don’t know his name and it wasn’t on our tab), a taller clean shaven or short goat t brunette, served us and was very attentive this time. He convinced us to try a couple of gin drinks. My husband and I hate gin like the Angels hate Satan and we LOVED these drinks. One was«looking for trouble» and the«blackberry bramble.» Both were made well and like the other drinks we’ve had on all visits, contained no mixers(which we also detest and is well appreciated and does not go unnoticed). Much like a woman who takes the extra step to accessorize in a tasteful manner, it does not go unnoticed. We couldn’t even taste the gin, but believe me we could feel the gin. Let’s be honest, isn’t that one of the best parts of a drink other than the deliciousness factor? Side note: it looks like they try and use as much local CO liquors. We CO natives love that! We enjoyed the«jalapeño» drink as well which may be my new favorite. We again ordered the risotto balls which were again, very delicious! A perfect size app. I ordered the fried goat cheese because you cannot go wrong with goat cheese. They did not disappoint. They were fantastic! The cheese was fresh, smooth and they were fried perfectly so the crust was nice and light and not over fried so there was no aftertaste. There may have been a shortage of goat cheese had I been hungrier… The plate was drizzled with a bit of honey and mixed well with the dish. There was a perfect portion so it didn’t overwhelm the flavor of the cheese. It was so good I had two servings. They aren’t huge portions, just right for an amuse bouche as an appetizer should be. I have been won over as long as the service remains this good, the drinks are hefty in both quantity and quality and the appetizers are as good then we will be returning often! We have yet to try full meals but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.

Nice place to get a drink. I had the gangs of New York, wife had fun in tub. Both were really top notch. The food was decent, the Brussel sprouts were amazing though. Staff was great, manager(maybe owner) reminded my wife and I of the seamstress from the Incredibles. She was very sweet and said she would take care of us next time because they ran out of little ducks for my wife’s drink. I will go back and try more of the drink menu.

My first time at The Wobbly Olive! Had my birthday celebration here and it was great! Servers and bartenders were so accommodating. We had over 20 guests and everyone had a very positive experience. Thank you for making my birthday hassle-free and fun! I will have to try to make it out here more often! The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious!

I went to grab a few drinks here with my friends, and I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was chill, and the drinks were super delicious! The prices were pretty great, too. And the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a little bit small, so I can see it getting crowded easily. I didn’t have any of the food — but maybe next time, because I’ll definitely be going back. I had a great time!

I’ve never had an unpleasant experience here. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations for you if you say it’s your first time there or if you can tell them generals of what you do or don’t like. Really had a nice time sitting on the patio enjoying cocktails while waiting for our movie to start, and barhopping after the movie we found the owner delivering a bottle of wine over to a party at Bar Louie who had ordered something they must have been out of and it was awesome seeing him being willing to network like that and giving the same friendly sociable service at an establishment that wasn’t even his.

I’m not sure if they serve food or not because I strictly went here to get drunk.(they did not disappoint) I’m a beer girl, so I’m not used to fancy drinks, i was a bit overwhelmed with their impressive menu. Its huge. So many drinks to choose from. The menu is broken down by alcohol type, whether it be Bourbon, Whiskey, Vodka, ect. They have it. The presentation of the drinks is also impressive. Fresh orchids, rose petals and other various flowers, they just make their drinks look as good as they taste. And they have a kick to them. Not weak at all. I’m surprised I never went in here before as it really is a gem in the overstuffed shopping center. Check em out before your movie. Its worth it.

Well after a few times here now I feel mixed on the review… maybe 3.5 stars if possible for the food. When we were greeted and asked about happy hour she just pointed at a black board instead of just explaining it. I will say that the food was delicious and very reasonably priced! People repeatedly report that it’s over priced… But I think they are comparing to the local themed bar, restaurants, and breweries that serve average bar food with little variety. The poutine and endive salad were EXCELLENT! That being said, the service is sub par and inconsistent. Specifically yesterday when we arrived on a Monday evening during happy hour, there was all of 5 people in the bar area and not only were we not greeted by the bartender we weren’t even acknowledged ! What bugged me most though, is that for a martini bar the bartender does not know how to make a martini! Seriously!!! I ordered an extra dirty vodka martini with Three Olives and though I can get over it being shaken(not stirred) and arriving very very cloudy, it had chunks of ice cubes in it… If you are specializing in martinis you should know how to make a proper martini in a chilled glass not one that you chilled by putting ice water in it for a few minutes. My husband’s wobbly Politan also had chunks of ice in it and was also served in a slightly chilled condensated glass… I would just think a martini bar would have a refrigerator /freezer to chill all their martini glasses, available when the drinks are ordered. A glass need to chilled for at least an HOUR for a proper martini.
