Very professional and excellent rates. Initially hired to replace a faulty ceiling fan fixture, but due to the house wiring being installed incorrectly, the project quickly became a safety issue which was repaired in a very efficient manner. Dan took the extra time to verify the rest of the wiring in the house was up to code, which was above and beyond and very much appreciated. Will certainly use this company again for any home repair needs.

Voltaire Engineering is my go to company for all construction and remodeling work. I have hired Voltaire for multiple projects and still am impressed with the workmanship and care that was given to my projects. Some of the projects that I have hired Voltaire for include adding a carport onto the house, remodeling a kitchen, fixing drywall issues, installation of new lights, and spray foaming of the crawlspace. Dan, the owner, is very easy to work with and is great at identifying all the things that a project will involve including potential surprises. My utility bills have been extremely low ($ 30 – 50 in the winter!) after Votaire foamed my crawlspace, walls, attic, and installed energy efficient windows. My experiences (I’ve had many) with Voltaire have been overwhelmingly positive, and I love the company’s focus on energy efficiency.

Voltaire came out for and energy audit and was the cheapest pricing we could find. The guy that came out was quick and very knowledgeable he did exactly what we asked for and was professional and respectful throughout the process.

**UPDATE** In writing the above review, I attempted to remain relatively unbiased and convey only specific details of my experience with the organization and my overall impression. I attempted to not personally attack any individual working for the organization and to simply convey the details-​as is the Unilocal policy. Unfortunately, the organization has chosen not to respond in kind and makes personal attacks based on the information I have provided in reviews. The only reason I am posting this update to the review is to try and keep anyone else from having to go through this type of experience with Voltaire Engineering; otherwise, I would take it down in an attempt to finally rid myself of this company. Here we are approximately 2 years after the work was rendered, and I am receiving inappropriate and hateful correspondence. Hire at your own risk! You are a horrible awful nasty person. You are also a liar. All of your posts are complaints which don’t have any merit except you are a horrible customer. Such a nasty person to create a business profile and claim it as your own just to gripe about a small business and you are lying about what really happened with the remodeling of your home.
