I’ve been seeing Dr. York for 3 pregnancies now. He is a laid-​back, low-​key, easy going guy who genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn’t blow off your concerns, but he also doesn’t let you get unnecessarily worked up. I have never felt pressured into anything I didn’t want to do, he respected my birth plan without question. His staff is equally lovely, caring and calm. His time management is not the best, however I feel this is because he wants every patient to have enough time with him, but try to get in early before he gets behind for the day! That’s the only reason I can’t give it 5 stars because of some of the long wait times, but if 4.5 were possible, I’d do that.

I went in with severe breast tenderness and headaches on a Monday. After what seemed like a 15 minute long lecture on birth control (which I didn’t bring up or want due to family clotting disorders) it seemed as though what I was there for wasn’t a concern for the nurse practioner. I felt judged since i don’t take birth control (I’m engaged, upper twenties and have been dating the same man for 4 years) and felt like it was being shoved down my throat. I came in with genuine concerns which i felt were not addressed.

Excellent doctor, he was with you step by step from visits to delivery. One thing I do dislike is that his ultra sound machine isn’t the best or the newest out there. Many other OBGYN are able to capture the babies whole face or even body but not their machine. ALSO, I had a c-​section which he was the doctor who help me deliver, my scar is misaline he couldn’t get inssion straight.

Dr. York is an outstanding Ob/​Gyn. He definitely knows what he’s doing medically, which is obviously the most important thing, but he also has great people skills. He makes eye contact and listens well and carefully, unlike many doctors. I’ve gone through some difficult procedures while in his care and have really appreciated his sympathy and kindness. Even my husband likes him. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about this physician. If you’re looking for an obstetrician/​gynecologist in Colorado Springs, this is the guy.
