El Pollo Dorado

I love this place. Lots of food, for a great price, and juicy chicken! I usually get the combo where it comes with tortillas, rice, and hot sauce so you can make your own tacos. Needless to say, when I want to binge on something, I definitely come here every time. A++

I just tried this place for the first time yesterday. I liked it. With a few touches to detail needed. First the chicken was very delicious moist and flavorful. No complaints. The rice was soft and fluffy very mild but none the less it was good. The beans on the other hand lacked flavor. They were cooked nicely but needed some serious touch of salt or pepper. Potato salad was just ok. Again mild flavor no chucks of potato either which is something I really enjoy in potato salad. Nothing really popped out was screamed delicious. Portion sizes could go up too. I bought the dinner meal with the tiny cups of sides. I ate my rice in about 3 spoon fills. I did get loads of chicken though. The «hot» salsa was mild salsa to me. I really wanted more heat. But it still tastes great. I’m going to have this place again. The dinner combo is a way better value than anything you’d get at el pollo loco. In conclusion, I recommend this place:-)

I like to support small business, but my meal was not good. Ordered two soft tacos, and I received two hard shell. The bad part: the shell was not homemade fried it was grocery store hard shell like Ortega brand. Horrible card board. The cheese wasn’t melted and the salsa wasn’t great. I should’ve know when I saw he had bags of chips for sale and they were totally store bought also. Round corn tortilla chips. I don’t know what to say because I hope he survives but he should revamp his chef skills. The chicken inside the taco was okay but I did get a lot of rubbery stuff in two bites. Oh well. Disappointing.

I had my daughter bday party food cater. They did a wonderful job and the cost was reasonable. My guest really enjoyed the chicken and salad.

This place is a favorite of my family. great prices and great good.

If you don’t deliver you shouldn’t say you do on Unilocal to make your place sound better than what it really is!

Consistently delicious! This chicken is NOT the rubbery kind you find at the Loco place. I would love it if they had a greater variety of sides.

This place is awesome for chicken. My wife and I got take out from here after the delivery of our son. It is a walk in place whee you can grab and go. It is also a great deal and good if you need to feed a lot of people with awesome chicken. Birthday party food, large lunches and group eats would be well served by a couple of whole chickens from this place.
Hope it gets a larger following because it is an awesome value and really good hole in the wall chicken…

2 large chickens w tortilla and salsa for 14.99 $, very moist and flavorful. Cheaper than Juan pollo but just as good, its just take out no dine in!

This is a special place. Creamy potato salad and rice cooked with chicken bits. Big deliciously roasted chicken. Take it home, tear up the chicken, and enjoy your life.
And after writing this, I think I know what I’m gonna eat for dinner…

One of the best mexican rotisserie chicken. I have been coming here for years. Great flavor and great prices. Surprised that there has been no Unilocal reviews of this place. Its a hole in the wall with limited seatings. But you cant go wrong with the chicken, rice, potato salad combo.
