Came into lunch to have some macaroni and cheese and had some wonderful lunch waitstaff Jamie and Nevada. They are awesome!

Always love the ribeye, this time we tried the prairie chicken which is two breasts with peppercorn sauce with mushrooms and of course the beans and salad are always a nice addition

The steaks are huge. The lunch menu is limited and doesn’t include the large cowboy steak. I eat allot of protein and would have hoped they would offer a steak for lunch even at the dinner prices. I will ask next time to see if I can order off of the dinner menu at lunch. The staff is really friendly and close to my work.

This place had good food. Not the best I’ve had but good. I had the half BBQ chicken and my husband had the«Cowboy» steak. The meal came with a small salad, some beans and bread with butter. My husband liked the beans but I wasn’t to sure about them. The salad was good and fresh. Our waitress was awesome. She kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we wanted or needed. The restaurant itself is kind of old. The table and chairs are older. The carpet had a bunch of really big stains. The place could really use an update. The one thing that bothered my husband and I is that the cooks in the back announce over a loudspeaker that the food is done to the waitresses. The whole restaurant can hear. It’s loud and annoying.

I was flying solo, so I sat down right away. Beer was fast, only a couple minutes until«Hoss»(I don’t think it was his real name…) brought my salad. Of course, people don’t come for the salad. I had the 14 oz prime rib which is only available, based on demand, Fri and Sat nights. It was perfect. Nice spicy creamy horseradish on the side as well as au jus. Food was great, service was not lacking. I don’t like their rendition of happy birthday, but I love that they do it. If you’re in Colton and don’t mind an extra dollar or two for good prime rib, by all means. P. S. of the bad reviews I’ve read, all of them ordered steaks medium well. Of course they were unhappy. Who does that? Seriously!

I ordered the 10oz Top Sirloin Steak cooked medium. It had a great savory flavor but my only complaint is the steak was a bit on the rare side. They serve the meal with a side of beans and salad that you cannot substitute which is unfortunate. Overall I would recommend trying this place for the first time and I would go back in the future.

This place was pretty good. I ordered a cowboy steak which was huge. It was really tender and juicy. I also ordered an alcoholic beverage which was good too. I think it was called a cactus cooler. The waitress was very nice too.

We took my stepdaughter here on her birthday on April 5, 2016 for a family dinner. The food is delicious and the wait staff are friendly and efficient. We were seated quickly even though there were 12 of us. Our waitress greeted us and served our refreshments quickly. She also took and delivered our orders quickly. The food was delicious and plentiful. The only issues were that our food was lukewarm but we did not make an issue of it. My son-in-law’s steak was medium well but he had requested medium rare. He didn’t want to wait while everyone else ate so he said nothing. My dinner salad was also drowning in ranch dressing, very soggy. The atmosphere was pleasant and rustic although the restrooms are in great need of refurbishing.

My husband and I had lunch there yesterday. There were three other tables with customers in the first dining area, and one group of birthday party-ers in the back room. Upon entering, a gentleman greeted us right away and sat us down. When I asked for green tea, he said they didn’t have any, but a few minutes later came back with green tea and said he just found out they did have it. He told us a server would be with us shortly. So we looked over the menu as two waitresses went back and forth to the other tables. A gentleman with very long hair and very authentic-ly cowboy looking was bussing tables; he was taking some orders from people at the tables, too. As we had come into the restaurant, there were some specials written on a board. Very clearly, it advertised a lamb plate for $ 14.99. My husband decided right away he wanted to try that. I had asked the original gentleman about a steak with some fat on it, and he suggested the ribeye. I decided that I’d give it a try. Well, after waiting for 13 minutes and no one approaching us, as we saw the first gentleman again I mentioned to him that no one had spoken to us. He said he’d send someone right over. Within a few minutes, a waitress was at the table and she took our orders. I said to her, «My husband would like the lamb dish special for $ 14.99 shown on the board as we came in, and I’d like the ribeye…» When we were finished she said, «And I’ll be buying dessert for you because of the delay.» I laughed and told her she didn’t need to buy us dessert, we had planned to order it anyway. She replied, «No, I have to. Boss’s orders.» As she left to put in our order it felt awkward and we talked about whether or not she’d really have to pay for it herself. Within a few minutes she brought bread, beans and our salads to the table. She also brought us another drink(I wasn’t halfway finished with mine & really didn’t want a second drink at that time) and we began our meal. The salad was fresh; just some iceberg lettuce with one cherry tomato. The beans are pintos with a discernible taste of chili powder that elevates it from just plain old bean-beans. We were given 3 generous slices of a brown bread and 3 of a white bread. They were both very good breads, and we were given plenty of butter with them. It was at least a half an hour before our meals were served. My husband enjoyed the lamb meal. He also got a baked potato and a roasted corn on the cob. My 12 ounce ribeye was cooked perfectly well done and was very flavorful. I was glad that I had waited to eat my beans and bread until the steak arrived because nothing else came on the plate with it, but my beans were cold and I was reluctant to ask to have them reheated. When the bill came, we were surprised to see the lamb priced at $ 27.99; I had mentioned to the waitress that I had asked for the $ 14.99 special on the board, and suddenly the other waitress kind of hollered my way as she went to another table, «The lamb is $ 27.99!» Our waitress said, «Yeah, the lamb is $ 27.99.» I told the waitress that we had only ordered the one on the board at the entrance priced at $ 14.99, and that we would not have ordered it for $ 27.99. She just repeated, «The lamb is $ 27.99, it was the steak that said $ 14.99.» I walked out to the front entrance and the prices were gone! Coming back to the table, my husband said to forget it, the lamb was good. I told him it wasn’t almost $ 30 worth-good. But we paid the bill, which came to over $ 65. With tip, we paid almost $ 80. Look, the meats were good; the other parts of the meal should have been served with the meal except for the salads so they have been consumed warm, and the atmosphere was run-down. I mean, they have plastic red and white checkerboard tablecloths that have seen better days. You can get new ones at the dollar stores for 99 cents, usually, and even that would have brightened the place up a little. But hands down, this is the place for the best steak around. Just wish everything else had been as point-on. I only gave a two star rating because a three star said«A-OK». Unfortunately this experience for us was not«A-OK». At $ 80 for two, we won’t be going back any time real soon.

Considering I’ve heard people rave about this place I was quite disappointed. Clearly, steak is the only option and if you aren’t a streak eater don’t even bother. I got chicken and to be honest, I could have made it better at home myself. The meals only come with a simple side salad beans(served family style). My husband liked the, I thought they were horrible. The bread was nothing to write home about, just a slice of cold bread as far as I’m concerned. The salad was the best thing I had– at it was just your typical side salad. I don’t mind the«country» look of the place, although, some things definitely could be updated. My husband did enjoy his steak, which is good but we will definitely not be returning.

Super delicious steaks! Cooked like you ordered and delicious. I want this place to be so much better though. I’m torn! Pros: Steak was great-cooked perfectly, service was prompt, sweet potatoes were delicious and so were the green beans. Cons: salmon overcooked and dry, menu incorrect– said mixed veg and green beans appeared, menu prices were different that what we were billed(sweet potatoe was listed for $ 4.99 bit we were charged $ 6, bbq corn was supposed to be a side with a meal but we were charged for it, etc) salad was mostly iceberg and wet from being rinsed so totally bland and not worth it. It’s a cowboy place, through and through. I’ll definitely be back, even if I’m not crazy about their beans. Best steak I’ve had in a minute!

My husband and I have been dining here for many years! We look forward to eating the best steak ever! They are juicy, cooked to perfection! The salad is very good as well as the beans. The only thing I would like to chang would be the bread. I think it should be a garlic cheese toast instead and not just plain white bread with absolutely no flavor what so ever! Love Pinnacle Peak though

My wife and i went for dinner on Saturday and had a nice time. We hadn’t been to a Pinnacle Peak for years. I had the porterhouse and my wife had the bone in NY. The steaks were great. The restaurant is in need a a little TLC, but overall it was a good value.

This place is hidden gem in Colton, CA it’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a good steak and cowboy atmosphere. The side that come with your meal are beans, house salad and lots of bread. Sides are served family style. My steak was cooked perfectly for me(medium well). Prices are like a typical steakhouse. The waiter Jesse James was a rockstar! We had a party of 11 and half were kids he did an awesome job serving out group. He was excited to let us know that kids eat free in Monday nights! Yesss score! With a paying adult though. Can’t wa

Great food! Pork chops are my favorite but my fiancé(first visit) had the New York and loved it as well. Peach cobbler was great, homestyle Mac N Cheese yummy! LOVECOLTON! Bartender/Server was very attentive, with her bar tables and tables in the dining room she never missed a beat. Our Sunday was complete! Thank you!

3.5 stars I have been coming to this place for years. The food is always yummy and service is usually good. For the most part the steaks are always cooked to perfection. This place is very affordable and you get a lot of food. Many food options to pick from. The bar area is cool to chill at and have some drinks and snacks before you get seated. I will continue to visit this establishment for years to come.

I haven’t been here since I was a kid. Came here for my dad’s b day. Went for lunch, didn’t like the lunch menu, so ate from the dinner menu. I like when I get my drinks first. Was getting ready to get up to leave, when we finally got some service. The wife and me shared the 16 Oz ribeye steak, medium. Also i got a salad with bluecheese, the bluecheese was pretty good. We got ranch style beans, potato salad, and bread, you get white and wheat. Dad got the 12 Oz ribeye steak, Medium well. Daughter got some strimp. Everything was very good. The place looks the same, from when I was a kid. Looks like they still, cut the ties off. The service was very good, after we finally got started. Lots of parking.

Food was great. The service was good as well. Last time we were there server was rude and messed up our order. Today we got the same server, but he did a good job, I guess they do read the comment cards.

I was really disappointed with almost everything. I ordered a T-Bone steak medium well. The steak was dry, and didn’t taste very good, as if it were weel done. I even tried it with steak sauce and that didn’t help. The service was not good, they forgot to bring us our salads, and kept forgetting even after I reminded them. The macaroni & cheese was very good, and the third time I reminded the waiterss about the salad, she finally brought it. To make up for their bad service they took off the price of the macaroni & cheese. The gesture was nice, but not enough to make up for poor service and a dry steak.
