You get what you pay for. For $ 50 we got a clean, basic room and a place to stay while in town for a funeral. We got free WiFi and a reasonable cable selection. We got a reasonably comfortable bed. The pillows are small and weird. The shower water pressure was low. The free breakfast was kind of sad. I guess the construction crew staying there cleaned out a lot of stuff, but we still had waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. The waffles were weird and not tasty. The baked goods were ok. The coffee was truly gross and I highly recommend going to the Dunkin Donuts close by. But, it was $ 50. So. You get what you pay for.

There aren’t a ton of places to stay in Columbia City. The staff was nice but the walls are paper thin and the doors hang with a gap at the bottom. They serve a «breakfast» and if you like powder eggs then go for it. There was sausage, but they ran out before the breakfast was over and didn’t replenish. If you have to stay in Columbia City, Indiana then this place is just satisfactory. Although I will say that they did accommodate an impromptu gathering of 15 family members by putting us in a conference room. Basically they unlocked the room so we could use it but we were able to sit and chat so that was nice.
