Great food, great service, good location. Highly recommend.

Maybe 2.5 stars. Three Forks comes up as an Italian restaurant, but there are very few Italian offerings. We ordered the antipasto platter as an appetizer. It was decent, but only came with 3 crostinis. For dinner, we ordered: 1. Halibut special — bland, small portion of fish. 2. Pork chop — ok, tender. The peaches were out of place and used more as a garnish. Olive oil mashed potatoes that accompanied were bland and cold. 3. Seafood bucatini — average, sauce was decent. The best thing at the table. 4. Bison scalopini — chewy. Bottle prices for wine were good. Overall, waste of $ 200.

After a day at Glacier NP we were hungry and made a stop at Three Forks Grille with my sister who is a local. Our group of four came for wine and some appetizers, thinking we’d cook dinner later that night. As we sat down we were greeted by our server Frank, the place was empty around 6pm. It started filling up later, but I was surprised since the food was so good. Once we got our menus everything looked good so we ended up eating dinner there. Our group ordered: Antipasto $ 10.50 which was delicious, as was the Hush Puppies for $ 9.75 We shared a Caesar for $ 8.50. I didn’t think I was a fan of trout but on this salad it was really good. Quail Poutine $ 14.00 my cousin said it was quite good Halibut Special $ 24.00 delicious! NY Strip dinner shared by 2 $ 24.00. Added $ 5 to split. This was«good»…would not order again. Also had a bottle of Duckhorn Migration Pinot $ 52 which was wonderful with our meal. My sister said the deli is great so hopefully next time we will make a stop there.

We ate here upon the recommendation of local friends, and it was terrific. The atmosphere is casual, but cozy, and the service is professional. The menu offers unique turns on classic American fare and features local produce wherever possible. Not haute cuisine, but certainly above and beyond most restaurants in a thirty mile radius. Everything was simple and delicious, particularly the grilled trout and the scallop special. Definitely stop in if you’re in the vicinity of Glacier and are looking for something other than a bison burger(that said, they serve one, too!).

Simply Delicious. We had the Cubano sandwich and the Steak sandwich, both of which were very tasty. The chips that came with it were peppery and very good. We split the Antipasto side salad and it was fresh tasting.

Our local friend brought us here and we got her a birthday dinner, definately the best place we ate on our weekend trip, a nice culinary diversion from the grilled and fried foods you find most places. It was a bit of a snafu when we first arrived, they were understaffed for the evening rush, but they explained it nicely while efficiently trying to make everyone happy, not losing their cool. We had a bottle of wine and a large meal for 3 for a very reasonable price compared to a Chicago meal of the same quality! Hush puppies wiht Oregon Shrimp, Roasted Yams, Pepper Jelly, Microgreens, Saba to start, and a hearty plate of Bison chili. We shared a dessert which was big enough for 4 diners. Creative menu and a nice space with local art and a homey feel with the bilevel restaurant/bar/deli.

Visiting from California and stopped by for dinner. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Restaurant was quaint. Ordered NY steak w Gorgonzola butter w olive oil mashed potatoes. Potatoes were ok rest was pretty good. Porkbelly sliders were good but I would have like it to be a little crispier. Especially the skin. Seafood risotto disappointing. Packed flavor and tasted overdone.

A lovely place with delicious and interesting food. Great service, too! If you’re in the area, I’d recommend checking it out. We had steak and fish and both were done very well. The kids loved it too!

A little disappointed in the main dishes but the smoked trout ceaser and winter house salad with cranberries, walnuts and a yummy roasted garlic ranch dressing were terrific. The olive oil whipped potatoes were also very good. Unfortunately the chicken in the sage creek chicken risotto was too fatty, as was the pork in the creative pork chop dish. I liked the bacon jam and grilled polenta part of the pork dish though.

Great place for lunch! Prices aren’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for. Yum.

We were impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, the décor is very authenticly Montana. They have a huge gluten free menu and the prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are enormous.

Vegetarians be warned before venturing into this carnivore stronghold! The Three Forks Grille may entice you with a few options on their menu, but once inside, you may meet flesh-eating staff who will let you know they do not take kindly to what they consider to be rabbit food eaters. But when did a real vegetarian ever back down from a challenge? The last time we tried to eat here it was under renovation. So we gave it another try having consistently hearing good things about both dinner and lunches from the deli. We parked out front(side parking available), sized up the deli menu and headed in. I expected a multitude of cured hams, high-end salamis, dried peppers, garlic, and all sorts of traditional Italian fare hanging from the ceiling and packed onto shelves, and a deli case packed with fresh made veg and pasta salads, chicken cutlets, olives, and cheeses. What we found was a sparsely filled ordering area and a rather barren deli display case. We were promptly greeted by the staff and proceeded to order. All lunch orders are put in at the deli counter. It looked like you could find a seat in the large and nice looking eating area and they would bring out your meal, but we had plans to take our sandwiches to the park(Glacier). We asked which of the vegetarian sandwiches the staff might recommend(there are at least 3 options). His response was classic Columbia Falls, which had us chuckling with lighthearted humor all the way home. As he looked down on us from his raised position on the deli floor: «I’m a CARNIVORE». When prompted: «So you have never tried any of the vegetarian sandwiches?» We gazed up at him expectantly, and his response was a simple but stern«NO». Really? Don’t restaurants encourage the staff to try everything so they can answer questions like this? Finding this all very amusing we proceeded to put in an order: the vegetarian Italian hero and the vegetarian reuben. The staff set to work immediately. After about 8 – 10 minutes(no problem waiting for good food) our meals came out, and we headed off to the park. We probably had the sandwiches about an hour and a half later. The vegetarian reuben was made of thinly sliced beets and sauerkraut — it was an unexpected flavor and hard to describe, but it was good. The flavor of the veg hero was also very good except for the ‘plain Jane’ and boooooring bread it was on.(Why is fresh sourdough bread difficult to find in the valley!!!) Overall we had a good experience and few laughs along the way. The sandwiches had been made to order, original, creative, and tasted good. The deli has A LOT of great potential and we hope it does well going forward. But if not careful they may alienate a small but influence group of clientele. Vegetarians may find their needs better served by the staff of Coffee Traders. But maybe this will change. We sure hope it does. 3 stars with 5 star potential

We were so impressed by the quality of food here that, during our week’s visit, we have been here for two dinners and a lunch at the Deli. Seafood is a big feature of the nicely balanced menu. The Seafood Spaghetti was wonderful. The sauce had a rich, complex flavor that I sopped every bit of with the great warmed bread. The pasta, rather than spaghetti, was angel hair, a little past al dente, but never the less, delicious. The menu also features regional ingredients like Bison and huckleberry. The Buffalo Burger was great — one of the best burgers ever. We asked for medium-well and it was well. Ask for rarer than you want. Olive Oil Pound Cake comes with a Huckleberry Sauce and its to die for. We highly recommend dinner in the Grille.

We weren’t planning on a special or sizable dinner the evening we ate here, but this place convinced us to really bust our wallets belts. We had a short wait, and the staff was really accommodating in making sure we had somewhere to sit and relax with our beers. The place is fairly upscale in décor, but we didn’t feel judged for our sweaty hiker look. We had the watermelon gazpacho and the gnocchi, and I had the cauliflower entrée. My fiancé got the lamb sliders, which he loved. All were so good. We were too full for dessert, but got the olive oil pound cake with huckleberry, anyway. Worth it. Service was unpretentious and of high quality. Very vegetarian-friendly place, really nice environment without any stuffiness. Recommended highly.

Three forks is pretty amazing. It’s our go to when we want an excellent steak. Our favorite is the NY strip. Can you say gorgonzola cream sauce? Olive oil whipped potatoes? Decadent. Its huge, too. The burgers are great, simple and fresh. Lots of tasty dessert options. Locally sourced ingredients. The deli is fairly new, but tasty! I got the muffaletta, which was done right. The chickpea salad is also lovely. Lots of great items by the pound.

Five stars relative to other restaurants in the area. Many places close to the park charge 20ish for an entrée, and their food is mediocre. Three forks food is very good and more reasonable. We had a great scallop salad, chicken risotto, bison burger, and the lamb sliders with harissa were actually tender. The atmosphere is inviting once you get past the front door, which is austere.

Fantastic! While visiting Glacier, we found this awesome place, thanks to a Unilocal search. We enjoyed great wine & split the braised bison(which was delicious). We added on salads and had more than enough to eat. The art was beautiful & interesting & we didn’t feel s led-conscious about not being dressed up or cleaned up after a day in Glacier.

Passing through from Georgia, and we loved our meal. The grilled turkey panini was ridiculously good, and only $ 10! We wanted to come back the next day just for this sandwich. Also, the host who sat us spent at least 10 minutes telling us where we should hike in east glacier. Double value!

Big thanks to Unilocal for this find! We were staying in the Coram area, where restaurants are hard to come by, and needed to find a place for dinner. A quick search on Unilocal led up to Three Forks Grille. If you’re feeling a bit dirty/scruffy from your day in Glacier National Park, not a problem at Three Forks. The restaurant is elegant but welcoming. I saw people in sweatshirts and others in a dress shirt. Reservations are suggested, but we were able to snag a table on the second floor without waiting. Be sure to come here with an appetite, as portions are on the large side. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here– everything is tasty and affordable. You can also get some local hiking tips from the staff. :)

4.5 stars. A step up in quality and price compared to other places we dined at in the area, and still a good value. If it had been more expensive(matching what I am used to for this quality) I would have rated it 4 stars. TIP: get reservations for dinner. We called in 3 hours early and were glad we did because it was full when we arrived at 7:30pm — despite being a Monday. But it tapered off by 8:15pm. AMBIANCE: 4. The first floor walls had attractive paintings, while the balcony(where we dined) walls were lined with black and white historical and artistic photos. SERVICE: 4.5. The waitress provided good advice, and kindly let me know that the Huckleberry soda was actually artificially flavored and imported from New Jersey. FOOD: 4.5. — 5.0: Antipasto Verdure. Outstanding Hummus. — 5.0: Organic Polenta. Vegetarian. — 4.5: Scallop salad. — 4.5: Grilled Rainbow Trout dinner. — 3.5: Montana Pork Chop dinner. Succulent meat with nice sauce that included huckleberries. Plain potatoes and veggies. — 4.5: Falafel. — 3.5: Dessert — Chocolate Flourless Torte with chocolate ganache and vanilla ice cream.(Dessert menu could be improved. Almost everyplace we dined at in the area had excellent dessert, so there is a high bar.)
