I have had several brands of cars serviced here over the last twenty years. The service has been great, the repars done right and the prices are fair. Now my son has his cars serviced at Abbotts.
I went in once for an AC problem, expecting to buy a new fan. Service guy called and said he had removed some leaves, and the AC was fixed. Not many shops are that honest.

Abbott’s is the absolute best car shop you will ever find. Honest, honorable, good people. Skilled mechanics at very good prices. I have had my cars repaired by many shops over the years in many locations. Time and time again, when other shops give me complex diagnoses with steep quotes, Abbott’s gives me the correct diagnosis, simple fixes, at a very fair price. I drive from out of state (NC) to Columbia just to get my car fixed by them. They are the best, without equal. –a Columbia native and customer of 20 years

We encountered auto problems on the highway as we were returning home from visiting Myrtle Beach. We found that Abbott’s was not far and stopped there to diagnose the auto problems. Much to our dismay, we were told that the repairs would be completed the following day. The owner helped us to find a hotel, drive us 15 min away from the auto shop and picked us up from the hotel the following day. Now that’s customer service! The entire staff made our dilemma a stress free encounter. We will probably never be in this area again but if we were we would definitely visit Abbott’s to help us with our car repairs.
