Old fashioned dairy dip where you order at the window standing outside of your car Tony, Noël and I was driving home from Ripley, WV to our home in Nashville, Tn and I got off the Interstate in Lexington and started taking the back roads on Rt. 68 South. We went through some really nice small towns. I was start getting hungry and we were in Columbia, Kentucky, so we decided to get some lunch. We found the Columbia Dairy Dip located one block south of the Columbia courtyard of the Court House. f We stopped here and it was small and so cute. It reminded me of the type of Dairy Queens I grew up going to back home as a small child. We stopped and we got some great lunch. HOTDOGS… I got a chili dog with slaw and onions and Tony got one with chili and cheese. we shared some deep fried mushrooms with ranch dressing for dipping. Noël got a corn dog and some chili cheese fries. we all got sweet teas to drink and I also got a hot dog weiner for our doggie Sammy and some cream for the kitties… We were traveling with her chihuahua Sammy and her 6 wk old kittens Zelda and Waldo The restaurant was so cute but it is all outside. You order at the window, pay and wait for them to call you. Then you go to your car and eat or to one of the picnic tables. We were having a great time and it took us about 40 minutes to eat and take care of the family pet members… All the food was less than $ 15 with taxes. GREAT food and GREAT bargain !!!
