Went here to look around and look at a particular dirt bike that I have been interested in. I talked to the sales manger Kollin who was very knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. Price was very straight forward with no gimmicks or bait and switch tactics used by many other dealers. The dealership is also locally owned which is a plus.

As both a consumer and a professional in the power sports industry I would recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs. Just returned from a visit to the service department at Fernindina Rd., and it was the worst dealership experience in my life. I was told that my ’95 Yamaha Wave Runner(purchased new from Columbia Power Sports and serviced there for all major repairs ever since) was«too old for them to worry about right now» because«they had two guys going full out to keep up with the newer stuff» and that I should bring it back in the winter when they are«scrounging for business.» Since that is their mentality they can forget servicing any of my newer«toys» or ever selling me another new one ever again. As for my working knowledge of the industry… I have worked with the power sports industry for the better part of the past decade. As a contributing photographer for the some of the premier dealer publications and marketing companies in the nation I have had the opportunity to visit and photograph some of the absolute best dealerships in the mid-west and southeast. Unfortunately the fact that we as consumers are relegated to Columbia Powersports for our needs here in the midlands is an absolute shame.
