Great room. Good price. Staff was friendly.

The accommodations are great. Great workout room. Huge breakfast. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice indoor pool. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

I came across this place on a recent trip driving from Kansas City to St Louis to see baseball games in those cities. Columbia is right in the middle of those cities so it was the perfect place to spend the night and break up the drive.
I received this hotel from hotwire and paid about $ 80 for a Saturday night stay. Our room had two queen beds that were very comfortable and a pullout couch. There were three of us so the three separate beds was nice.
There was free WIFI that worked well and complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was the usual bagels, fruit, biscuits, coffee stuff.
The location of the hotel is right off I-​70, our room faced the freeway but I couldn’t head the traffic so that was fine.
There isn’t anything nearby by that you can walk to, so be prepared to drive a few minutes to get to a place to eat.
Overall I liked the place for what we needed. It was very clean and check-​in was fast and friendly.
Not only would I stay there again, I already have. The following night after spending the day in St. Louis, we drove back West and stayed another night, this time purposely booking this hotel on Orbitz.

The front desk was very pleasant. The rooms are very nice and the bed was «Oh my goodness!» Comfortable with plush, cottony pillows. The room and bathroom both were clean. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something decent. It also comes with a full cold/​hot breakfast from 6:00am — 10:00am.

First of all, the staff was wonderful: friendly, accommodating, efficient, and so on. But I rate this hotel low for three reasons. 1) The windows don’t open in any of the rooms, so there is no way to get fresh air. To me, this alone would earn the place a very low rating, although I resisted giving it a single star because of the great staff. Also: 2) There was a funny smell in and around rooms 206 – 207 (if I am remembering the numbers correctly). The staff offered to move us, but it seemed to get better when the ventilation system was shut off. It smelled like an animal had gotten into the ventilation system and died. 3) The wireless internet is not secure (but I think maybe that is normal in all lower budget hotels?).

I try and write positive or at least thoughtful reviews, but after staying here twice in the last three months it’s hard to put the venom with which I hate this hotel into words. Its dirty, nothing works, and the staff doesn’t seem to be able to deal with anything.
For this last stay I was given a handicapped room which meant I had to shower on my knees because the faucet was set for somebody on a chair. By the way, the chair, complete with little curly hairs was still in the shower. I asked to change rooms but was told there were no other rooms for the entire five unfortunate nights of my stay. Given how few cars there were in the parking lot, I doubt the truth of that.
The television was a mystery at best. It took 20 minutes to find ESPN and then it would cut out and come back on like a ghost was controlling the remote. Wi-​fi was a joke. Signing on was next to impossible. I went to Starbuck’s to get connected. The person at the front desk couldn’t figure it out either.
They did give me new towels and emptied the trash everyday, but I’m sure they didn’t vacuum. The rug stayed gritty the whole time. I wouldn’t go barefoot.
I travel extensively. I know hotels, both cheap and luxurious. I ‘m pretty tolerant. This place is awful.
I also don’t understand why this hotel has 4 stars based on 4 reviews. It’s been around a long time. Lots of reviews have been written. My review from October is not among those listed. And of the 4 that are listed I see three with 1 star each and one with 5 stars. How does that net out to 4 stars?
Anyway, the bottom line is never again.

What a wonderful experience! Very nice staff. Very clean rooms & plenty of towels. I was very impressed considering what a reasonable price. Oh, don’t let me forget the free breakfast the next morning. Sooooooo much better than the other hotel we were at the night before. Thanks for a GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP in a super clean & comfy bed!

For the price very nice. Clean. Modern. The mattress and bedding was very comfortable. Nice size fridge in the room with microwave. Front desk folk were very very friendly. Breakfast included. Nothing to brag about but not bad.
Hotel is a couple miles from Mizzou but not bad. It is probably easiest to find the hotel if you use your GPS.

Don’t know what happened with Dana C. I have never had any trouble here. This is where I stay anytime I am in Columbia, MO and in my opinion this is an excellent place to stay.

Check to make sure they changed the sheets! There was hair & pubes all over the sheets. I think a wookie slept in this bed last night and the lazy maids never changed the sheets. Last time I’ll ever stay here!!! The WiFi SUCKED too!
