Really love this place! Always a great variety and full of flavor. The friendly staff is just the icing on the cake;-)

I had the cookies and cream cupcake and the frosting was a tad hard but it was overall good.

Having had a so so dinner we were on the search for a good dessert. Man was this the place!
Having tried several other cupcake places all over the place we were nervous to give it a try. Most places the cake is really dry, the frosting taste like Betty Crocker made it or the combination of the two just aren’t great. We went in about 10 minutes before closing and surprised they still had several choices left. As you can imagine that’s either a good thing they just made some, or a bad sign that no one likes them. But it was rainy out and there was people in there still so we took a chance.
I had the cinnamon roll and the cake was very moist and the frosting was just right amount snd flavorful. My daughter had a chocolate one with a cookie dough in it and she said it was great. My my wife had the birthday cake and she said it was great but had a little to much frosting but who complains about that.
So if your looking for a moist and flavorful cupcake this is your place. And don’t be fearful like us thinking they would have nothing left and be dried out at 10 minutes before closing is furthest from the truth. Take a keep of faith and give them a try.

Turtle cupcake was amazing! The staff was super nice and helpful. The cupcakes were nice and moist. The best part was the frosting! Yummy yum !!

I just found out they discontinued their delivery service. I have used this bakery in the past to send birthday cupcakes to my son at the University of South Carolina. It was a nice (and delicious) way to let him know that we were thinking of him on his special day when he was so far from home. But that is no longer an option. What a shame.

I recently relocated from Atlanta, where the place with the G was pretty popular. These cupcakes are head and shoulders above what I’m used to. The cake is flavorful and moist, the icing is not overly sweet but extremely delicious. I’ve tried several of their flavors and haven’t been disappointed yet.
If you stop by, be sure to try their new alcohol infused line, After Dark. The Blackberry Mojito is the best cupcake I’ve ever tasted!

These cupcakes were not good. All cake was same flavor but missing sugar,. Cake was salty. Icing had flavor. Cakes were small… very small for the price. Not worth the trip or the money. Even my 3 kids who will eat anything took one bit and wouldn’t finish them. :(

After a disappointing dinner at The restaurant across the street I needed something to satisfy my sweet tooth. I walked Into Cupcake five minutes before closing. I had the creamsicle cupcake. This orange flavored cupcake was delicious. It seemed like the batter had ribbons of cream cheese in it. It cut the sweetness of typical cupcakes I have had at Sprinkles and similar bakeries.
The frosting was delectable. It was an orange cream cheese frosting that had a richness that complimented the cupcake. Next time I am going back for their strawberry cupcake. So many flavors to choose from, well worth the $ 3 instead of spending $ 7-​$ 10 at the establishment across the street.

I am a bit of a cupcake snob, and I will tell you these are the best! I haven’t had one yet that’s not spectacular! Worth a visit if you love sweet treats. Make your way down there. They even have gluten free!

The cupcakes are on the expensive side, but I enjoyed the variety of flavors available. They are pretty legit, not Coccadotts, but the best in the area… just my opinion.

Came here with high hopes for delicious cupcakes… They have different flavors each day, which all sounded interesting. Our group chose the white chocolate raspberry, birthday cake, and black bottom cupcake. However the cupcakes were too sweet overall and were not particularly flavorful. Too much icing on some, gritty icing on others (birthday cake flavored cupcake). In the end, only half of our group was happy with their cupcakes. We may return and give them another try… But for the price, the cupcakes we tried were underwhelming.

Was really hoping to try the Salted Caramel and the Peanut Butter Cupcakes but they didn’t have either. I ended up with the Keylime and the Black Bottom. Both were good. I would give this place 3.5 stars but had to round down because Unilocal doesn’t allow for half stars. While the selection was nice I did rate them down since I struck out with both my original choices.

Expensive but they are incredible. We had the Peanut butter and chocolate, the salted caramel and the key lime cupcake and all three were delicious. My only complaint is an opinion and I think their frosting is a bit too sweet on some of the toppings.
The shop is really great and I wish they made an air freshener of that scent. They also sell tervis cups, mugs, t-​shirts and other merch. Note: They had a buy 5 get the 6^th free special going on.

My weekly favorite treat. What else can I say, I love this place. So moist, my mouth is watering just thinking about these cupcakes. I think I should buy stock in the company. There are so many perfect selections of these little delightful treats, it is hard to decide on one. I always walk away with a box full. My favorite so far is the Black and White and the Red Velvet. Not to leave out you chocolate lovers, they have a double chocolate that will make you dream of this cupcake. They even have special treats for the «Gluten Free» folks. Not many dessert places offer this, and yes even the «gluten free» cupcakes are the Bomb. Top this off with a super friendly staff that is open to suggestions… how could anyone not just Love this place like I do. Enjoy.

My Ultimate Favorite Cupcake Shop.
I fly around the world and always visit Columbia, SC once a year just to get my favorite cupcakes! Red Velvet, Any of the Chocolates, or Fruit filled cupcakes are my favs.
Its worth the plane ride!

Yummy cupcakes. I come here often and it’s fun because they mix up their flavors by the day depending on the season. They have their everyday best selling flavors so if you aren’t happy with their mix up, you can never go wrong with a simple chocolate, vanilla, or red velvet.
What makes these cupcakes good though is their frosting. Don’t come here expecting the cupcake itself to blow you away otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. Had their orange chocolate this morning and it was super good! Standard chocolate cake and the orange frosting was delish!!!

The cupcakes are delicious, loaded with lots of icing, yum! I had the red velvet and it was great!
The think that impressed me the most was the eclectic décor. What a perfect place to experience the culture of the south!

In my top five cupcake places that I’ve been too! Different flavors for different days, very good stuff here on Lincoln St. down in the Vista.

Cupcakes I like: moist, filling, and with a variety of flavors.
This place hit the marks. Not the best I ever had, but plenty of icing to keep pace with the cake (as opposed to filling which I do enjoy better — whatever works).
Service was very good, and they sold red velvet coffee packets that my friend immediately bought. Pricey yes, but at least the portions were solid.
This is more of a 3.5 star rating. A good option for the area in my opinion.
