My hair is so straight that it is not very forgiving if the stylist is not meticulous. For the past ten years since I have located to this area from New York, I have been unable to find anyone to cut my hair to my satisfaction.
A co-​worker highly recommended Kim at Dakota Salon. I have to agree, Kim is fantastic. She has been my stylist for the past year. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my hair.

I’ve never been to Dakota Salon before until i found Melanie who does eyelash extensions and when i came in had recently went to someone else that really messed up my lashes): but then i found Melanie who told me the truth, gave me pointers, and made me beautiful again with long healthier lashes!
She’s very sweet and really easy to talk to. she will definitely let you know if she can or can’t fix your lashes which she did to me and i really appreciated it. instead of trying to fix it she just told me to grow my natural lashes back out so she can do a full set. I’ve found my eyelash extension guru and i won’t go anywhere else!!!

Gail Jones is an excellent colorist and stylist. She is experienced, confident and attentive to the needs of her clients. Gail is also gentle with my hair and scalp which makes getting my hair done a pleasure.

I have been coming here for several years, and feel like a rock star when I walk in the door. The receptionists are warm and welcoming to each guest; the thoughtfulness that goes into remembering what the client would like, and the appreciation that comes from being a long-​term or new client is really wonderful.
I love seeing the stylists and learning from them how to solve a hair problem… and they really listen carefully. Cheers and kudos to the folks who make me feel terrific from my stepping in and stepping out of the salon!
Dakota is a wonderful salon… and I love my time there.

I wouldn’t trust any other salon with my hair. Rowan is hands-​down the wizard of luscious locks and stunning dye jobs. The staff is so friendly and has been more than welcome to my mother, my grandmother, and I as we’ve come to Dakota Salon for more than 10 years. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Sorry, I just couldn’t get past the extremely rude receptionist. I know that life gets busy sometimes but she was short, sarcastic and downright bitter. I bid her ‘good day’ before I was able to book an appointment. Uhg!

I’ve been coming to Dakota for over a year now. I am very picky when it comes to my hair. Sometimes a stylist has their own vision for your hair in mind and you end up leaving with a cut that you can’t stand, this is really what sets Rowan apart, he listens to what you want and will be as creative as YOU would like!!!
