Absurdly rude owners. AWFULPEOPLE. I had my car towed by mistake, and they refused to talk to me in a calm, polite, or even civil manner and explain their side. I was willing to pay(be warned they really gouge you with the towing fee of 145) but they just flat out told me «pay or get the heck out». Aside from being called a liar by the condescending receptionist that clearly hates college students, I felt really uncomfortable in their shop. It was dirty, messy, and unprofessional. They didn’t make me feel at all good about doing business with them, they just rudely demanded that I pay because«there is no way our driver makes mistakes». Incredulously, they cornered me into paying because they knew I was stranded and had class. How is this even legal? I struggle to understand how they have remained in business. Truly some of the nastiest people I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Even the errand boy that pulled my car took it over a curb and slammed the door. Rude rude rude On a side note, they’re a gas station and a mechanic I believe, and I’d rather rebuild an engine myself with a rusty screwdriver than hand the keys over to them. 0⁄10NEVERGOHERE

Late night towing need, precipitated by a car accident on the freeway nearby. I’m from out of town — always have that fear of being an easy target. Truck arrived within 15 minutes — granted, we were fairly close to the facility. Driver, Tom, was prompt and courteous going about his business of hooking up our vehicle. Because he was so quick to arrive, I was still in the process of arranging for a hotel and a cab, when he arrived. I was worried that he would be frustrated that I wasn’t ready to release the vehicle. Instead, Tom was great. He provided some helpful local information. Gave a good tip on a prompt cab service. Suggested that my wife and kids get back into our vehicle while waiting for me to finish arrangements with the hotel and the cab’s arrival. He was happy to answer questions, but not overly chatty. Great guy! If Tom is representative of the staff at this firm, this is a 5-star shop. My transaction is covered by my insurance. So, I didn’t get pricing. Also, the firm may recognize the insurance relationship as important, and we see favorable treatment due to that leverage. Not sure how it goes if I’m just calling for a tow on my own. This was my first interaction. But, man, they were prompt, and Tom was super cool. I’ll definitely keep the contact info for the next unexpected need in Columbia, but more importantly, I’ll refer them readily with only the qualifying statement made above.
