Though their quote on hardwood floor polishing was lower than a few others, I would not recommend nor would use EPS again. I paid $ 850 on 2 levels of hardwood floor cleaning. They came with Mr. Clean, extremely dirty looking bucket, and dirty mop head. When I questioned this, Freddie told me that the disinfectant kills everything. For this amount, I would think that a clean mop head would be a given. I don’t know where it’s been(hospitals, other people’s bathrooms, pet-filled homes, etc). Perhaps, two buckets(one for cleaning and one for waxing) would be more professional as well. They ran out of product midway and had to go to Home Depot to buy some more. Thank goodness, they did change the mop head to apply the floor wax polish. While parking into my garage, his assistant broke the rear view mirror on the garage bricks. Luckily, it did not do much damage to the structure. I had to leave before they finished. When I inspected my place when I returned, I noticed under the polished floors there were many pieces of hair and other particles. It was not a thorough sweep and mop job. I had to use a razor to lift it out in many places. Definitely have any contractors you hire to perform their services in a small area before you pay them based upon price, awards, or «reviews». Plus, he did not bother to review with me what would be done before beginning. I had to ask along the way while they were doing it. If I had known, I would have best gone out and bought Bona Wood Floor products and did it all myself for $ 100 with better products. It sure would be nice if booties were worn into anyone’s house by contractors. Then, on their website it said that reviews were done by customer lobby. Sure they were friendly and prompt and on-time, but the work was not up to my expectations. No one from there contacted me regarding my feedback. That is why here is my «yelp.»

We had a great experience with EPS cleaning. We purchased a new house and had construction done, which left a layer of drywall dust over everything. We hired E.P.S. to do a pre-move-in clean and to wash and wax the floors. Freddy was great to deal with on the project, providing a quote over the phone and then showing up promptly with his team as scheduled. They worked magic on our house — it literally gleamed when he was done! The transformation on the hardwood floors in our 100+ year old house was simply amazing. I would definitely recommend their services.

Just an update from the last review, since Mr. Eps commented. First, he was aware that the house for the second cleaning was one we had just moved in, but as I explained it was not grimy, didn’t need tons of scrubbing or anything. Second, we scheduled a second cleaning with E.P.S. to try to give them another chance after Mr. Eps offered 50% off of the first and second cleanings at the new location(and as it turned out, it still wasn’t worth it). Third, if a line of mildew on linoleum streaking down from a shower tap — one that according to Mr. Eps I could remove in «three minutes» with cleanser from Home Depot — constitutes special«mold cleaning» and requires special notice and preparation, then for heaven’s sake that’s ridiculous. That’s, by his own numbers(3 minutes, $ 60 dollars) twenty bucks a minute for cleaning it. I checked before the cleaning what was included, and was very specific. I checked before I left the house to see if the kitchen floor would be done and I was told it would be – and it wasn’t even touched. Crumbs on the counters? Inside of microwave not wiped? Dirt on the stovetop? Dirty bathroom floor, dirty siinks? Cust on most of the furniture surfaces? What exactly *is* included in the«normal cleaning,» anyhow? I didn’t expect miracles, but I did expect that more would be done than having three pieces of furniture dusted and one rug vaccuumed. I stand by my original complaints.
