I moved out of Fenland Field a month ago and it was the best thing i ever did. Zero stars is too high a rating for them. When I lived there I was envious of homeless people. It’s hard to say which of the many problems was the worst but it was probably the fact that last summer the air conditioning didn’t work and they pretended it did. I could not get the temperature below 85 degrees in the summer eve when we set the thermostat as low as 65 degrees. The result was back to back electric bills over $ 300 each for two bedroom apartment. When maintenance was called they did show up – eventually. They fixed what they came to fix – then it would break again about 17 seconds later. Mice were regular, uninvited, guests. Maintenance would have them exterminated only to have them return a few days later. At one point I purchased my own mousetraps. which i should not have had to do The mice didn’t even pay rent, In the eight years I lived there only emergency maintenance was done. The carpet was never cleaned or replaced, the walls were never painted, the appliances we’re never updated. The machines in the laundry room broke often and were repaired slowly. At one point I appeared at the rental office in person to try to get the air conditioning problem resolved since all i got from phone calls was more lies about the air conditioning working properly. When I went to the rental office, instead of working with me to try and resolve the problem they called the police and threatened to have me arrested for trespassing. Later when I went to look for another apartment they violated confidentiality laws by telling another apartment development about the incident causing me my application for that apartment to be denied and forcing me to move into a more expensive and less convenient apartment
