Ordered delivery again because it was so good the first time. There was some mix up on MY end. When I called assuming it was on their end they were very friendly & professional. We got our order in a very timely manner this time. I highly recommend the egg drop soup.

This was fast food at best. I’ve had it years before but this was horrible. I got pineapple chicken, cashew chicken, shrimp with veggies which was more of a soup than an entrée and had ordered the beef with veggies with I never got. The crab Rangoon was a typical fast food Rangoon with just sweetened cream cheese with no crab in sight. I will not never order from this place again and suggest you don’t waste your money on it

I ordered delivery and it was brought to me pretty quickly even after I was told that delivery would take about 45 minutes.
The food was above average, and after having read the tips of others here on Unilocal before I ordered, I tried the recommended boiled dumplings, which were extremely scrumptious, much to my very pleasant surprise. The mee fun was tasty, and the fried rice was well seasoned. Portions were fit into those standard carry out boxes most Chinese restaurants employ for delivery.

I was here at 6pm on a Thurs and was the only customer the entire time. The phone did ring a few times for take out orders though. The hot n sour soup and crab rangoon are excellent! I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce. The menu said it was spicy, but it was very mild. Also, barely tasted the garlic but the brown sauce was good nonetheless. Pork fried rice that came with the dish was average. Portions are large and the price is best in town!

My food took over an hour to arrive when. When it finally did it was cold. The rice was tasteless and the crab Rangoon were sitting in congealed grease. When I called the man on the phone was very rude and said they were busy.

Cheapest lunch in town! The food is always delicious, service is fast, and it’s rarely busy. You won’t be asking them for interior design tips, but who cares? You go for the food and maybe the price.
If you missed the lunch menu, it’s ok. Their dinner menu is full of deliciousness and always comes out looking pretty posh. Do family style and keep in mind that these are large portions.
They have this fish in red sauce that wasn’t on the menu and you would have to call ahead of time to order. it was amazing and worth the trouble. Try it out! Hopefully they still serve it.

Kind of trickery because the foods served in this place are not TAIWANESE FOOD but they use the name FORMOSA. Service is fine but food is below average.

I go here about once a week. I’ve been coming here since about 2000 or 2001 and it’s my favorite Chinese food in Columbia. I used to live on the east coast, and I’ve been to Chinatown in New York City hundreds of times. I LOVE Chinese-​American food and this place is a good deal on some of the best I’ve had. I especially like the orange tofu. It’s crispy, flavorful, perfect amount of spice, fresh, right temperature, very filling, and you get enough for $ 8 to take half of it home for another meal later. Highly recommend this place. It’s especially nice to sit in the booths overlooking Broadway.

So I’ve been going here ever since my freshman year at Mizzou. I’m so glad my roommate and I chose to try this place. It has never let me down and has good, big portions for the price. And, and, and delivery comes quickly! Look if you’re a college student that’s trying to save money and loves good food, try this place. I doubt you’ll regret it.

Stopped in today just after 1pm and ordered their Sesame Chicken Lunch meal with fried rice and Crab Rangoon. It came out about 6 minutes after ordering and they included an extra CR. For the amount of food, especially for a lunch portion, and the quality for only 5.25 +tax, I was very pleased with my experience.

Hard to believe this restaurant is in Columbia! Didn’t know what to expect from a janky, semi-​hidden staircase leading up to the place, but was definitely impressed. Service was wonderful and the food came fast. Sitting next to one of the windows overlooking downtown was a HUGE plus, I must say– made the already savory food taste better. I just know I’ll dream with those dumplings I ordered until I get to have them again. Seriously, even the egg drop soup made me wish I could eat it with my hands just so I could lick the flavor off my fingers. Will come again!!!

The food and service was wonderful and my order came out quickly. I took and chance and ordered the beef cho cho and had no idea what it was. It is like teriyaki beef on a skewer. I like the sauce they cooked it with. It was kind of sweet. All of the chicken, beef, and seafood dishes are very tasty. If you’re going to get noodles, the Singapore chow fun is a must. Just the right amount of spice.

I haven’t had Formosa in a few years and decided to order for delivery– It was much better than I remembered! I adventurously had the Curry Shrimp with Onions with white rice. I’ve never been a big curry fan but this was perfect– not too intense and the perfect amount of heat. As strange and trivial as it sounds, the white rice was beyond expectation as well. It was very moist and perfectly cooked– way better than takeout rice I’ve had anywhere else. I’ll be moving Formosa up on my list of go-​to restaurants.

Was a deliver boy at this restaurant before and have to say the delivery is freaky fast!!! Okay, I think the traditional Chinese food there is better than American-​Chinese food. Try some roast duck, Szechwan chicken and salty squid rather than Broccoli A or General Tso’s B.

My co-​workers and I have been ordering take out every Wednesday for well over a year now. Sometimes even 2 or 3 times a week, the food is that amazing. With in the past 30 days though, they have changed the sauce in their Generals Tso’s Chicken. Please go back to the old recipe, and this review will be five stars.

Delivery was much faster than expected. Food was typical American-​Chinese. Roommate hated her cashew chicken, but sesame chicken, general’s chicken, and pork fried rice were good (but standard). The chicken lo mein and egg rolls were excellent though. Food was cheap as well.
