I used a living social deal to access the relaxation area. I brought my husband and we used the spa areas and salt room. Bring a lock, bathing suit, and flipflops. I took a yoga class which I enjoyed. It was not crowded and the staff was very helpful.

Fantastic spa day! Massage and facial were amazing, and the wellness center was incredibly relaxing.

I am a member. I come here a few times a month. The front desk staff is terrible. A hand full of times the woman with her hair in a bun would not scan my haven membership card and I had to be «escorted» by some one at «the still point» into the healing environments. I was told there was no manager, so how do I issue a compliant? Seriously the older woman with her hair in the bun– fire her. She is rude — bites your head off if you have a guest, or if she just need to scan your card. The same job family is at the Columbia Association Gyms front desks and points of entry, and I never have a problem there.

Came here for part of my surprise wedding anniversary day for my Wife. We had the couple massage, pedicures and time in the salt room. My Wife felt pampered so therefore it was worth the money spent =) She recently has been asking to return so i might invest in the membership. Great customer services and very accommodating staff. Was running late and they were able to move things around for us due to our upcoming Salsa lesson in DC afterward lol! Again, great experience overall.

When I enter Haven on the Lake I instantly feel relaxed. I went for a half day package and really enjoyed my services and the healing environments. My sugar scrub was amazing! I ALMOST purchased a membership — it’s easy to get sucked into one after you’ve just had such amazing massages. I recommend having an early morning appointment so you can enjoy the entire facility for the rest of the day.

For my birthday I wanted to do something special and outside of B’more. So after thinking and dreaming about a wet and wonderful spa experience I found The Still Point Spa at the Haven on the Lake in Columbia. After speaking with the person at the desk I arranged an early water yoga class with Lue in the spotless swimming pool and two spa services. After stretching and relaxing I went for a warm salt glow body treatment with Mary. Then I had lunch at the Whole Foods upstairs and returned for a spa manicure and pedicure with Cynthia. Both services were so calming and special and my skin and nails said thanks! All of the staff was extremely competent and pleasant. I have no fault with the location which was spotless and offered an array of healing water treatments as well as many other spa treatments. The only issue I had was the price of the services. This was definitely expensive and with tips I waltzed out of the spa with an empty wallet. However, it was delightful and a treat. I’m sorry others felt that they were not treated well by the staff. I did not have that experience but felt that the prices were quite high for what I received.

Facials are not relaxing because the lady will talk your ear off despite telling her you plan on sleeping and relaxing. I walked away with tiny bruises on my nose because she extracted them painfully without steaming open the pores! I would’ve been able to catch that if I had a moment of peace and quiet instead I’m left with scarring I hope the go away just applied some rose hip oil hopefully it will minimize scarring. The massages are terrible i don’t appreciate paying over $ 100+ to be rubbed down with lotion. Each time I tried a different one I’m done wasting money and giving them several chances. I’m sticking with the Still Point in Clarksville they aren’t as fancy with the pools and saunas but their massages are on point.

my husband and I have been members since its inception. The facility is an exceptional one of a kind spa/health center. Every exercise class is conducted by experienced staff ready to assist should help or modification is required. The salt room, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, pool plus cleanliness make Haven a great place to relax and improve one’s heath.

I travel extensively. Whenever I’m in Maryland, Haven is a great place I go to unwind, recharge and get everything in balance. With the beautiful lakefront location, right underneath one of the best Whole Foods locations in the country, and near many great Columbia destinations and restaurants, it’s perfectly situated. It’s Columbia’s best kept secret. There are great classes, water features(pool, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge) and the spa on site offers massage, facials and other great services. When you enter Haven, you automatically dial down the stress just from the sights and scents. You’re greeted with a warm welcome and from that moment, all of the stresses of life start to fall away. By the time you leave, you are renewed and ready for life reset and recharged.

I love my Haven Membership! I have been a revive member(unlimited classes) since January and I have relished attending classes and visiting the«healing environments». I admit that it all seems a little bit pretentious from the outside but my personal experience here has been top notch. I have met wonderful people in my classes, teachers and students alike; and really enjoy the community that Haven fosters. My husband has the«healing environments» only membership, which he uses to unwind after a long day at work. Hot yoga fanatics, Ling and Roger’s classes are for you! Tuesday at 7 and Wednesday at 8! I splurged once and had a mani-pedi from Emily at Still Point at Haven. Three weeks have passed and my pedicure still looks great. The Still Point experience was very relaxing, it included a warm shoulder wrap and hot tea. When I walk through the doors of Haven I instantly relax and my mood improves. It is a worthwhile luxury!

This is a prime example of how poor customer service can make even the loveliest venue unappealing. A few weeks ago I walked into Haven to get a tour. It’s new and it is nice and the class offerings are appealing. So a saleswoman goes over all of the membership options and I tell her I had been in an accident and had spine and neck trauma, moreover my doctor hadn’t cleared me to take classes so I’d rather just purchase ala carte. She then offers a provisional mini class membership telling me the package doesn’t expire if I can’t take the classes immediately. Well with hope, I purchased. Fast forward, I am still not cleared to take classes and I’ve been told to stay away from heat, like jacuzzi /steam room, something that I love when I visit a spa. I call Haven, I explained the situation and asked what my options are. The manager was supposed to call me back same day but I never got a call back. So 15 minutes before it closed i.e. 6 + hours later, I go to the location I asked for that same manager. First she tells me there is no manager then she said yes it was her and that she would have called me but she was busy… o k… I explained the situation again and she proceeded to tell me that normally they wouldn’t ever refund money but«if indeed it was a medical reason» they would consider a refund ONLY if my doctor sends them a note. How insulting!!! First of all, a provisional class membership HASNORESTRICTIONS. I didn’t sign anything and I’m not beholden to you. Moreover why would I lie ??? I was a fan and I intended to visit when I’m allowed… if I’m allowed… so why would I lie and what kind of animals accuse somebody of lying about a spine injury… who does that!!! I don’t relish telling friends and my doctors how egregiously unprofessional Haven is or how they work overtime to make members feel insulted. It has the potential to be great but honestly I am quite disappointed in the lack of service.

My mom has be raving about this place. So for my birthday last month she surprised me by treating me a massage, salt bath, and the other amenities that come along with package. Can I say that I went in with extreme neck pain and that was completely gone after my massage. She did an awesome job. I love the atmosphere and the calmness of the environment. One thing I must say is the salt bath chairs are a little rickety. but other than that we had an amazing experience.

Today as I was ask to leave the reception area of The Haven because non members are not welcome to sit in the common area as my presence would make it unfair to members. I also found out(from Haven Staffer) that the rude treatment I received in my past attempt to learn about the club was due to certain Haven staff not being trained on how to receive certain potential guests. Turns out only sales people are familiar with how to introduce program options to potential members. No thank you Haven, Lifetime Fitness knows how to treat all people well.

My friends and I spent an absolutely glorious day at Haven a few weeks ago as part of my bachelorette festivities. Though located on an inglorious commercial street in Columbia, once inside, you will be in a truly tranquil space. A mere $ 25 buys you access to a score of pools, tubs, saunas, and steam rooms. Even more fabulous: treat yourself to a massage from Myron, who gave me an out-of-this-world 25-minute rub down. It was almost indecently pleasurable. A friend of mine did the hour long«glow» massage w. him and she emerged feeling«on another planet.» The staff, including the owner, were so accommodating and hospitable. They did a marvelous job organizing treatments for all 10 of us. Highly, highly recommend you consider Haven for group events – or, just your own private staycation.
