Image Makers Salon

They didn’t answer their phone 30 minutes before closing on a Friday so I left a message. Never heard back from them.

Grateful to have found Image Makers! I had spent a while in Columbia, trying various salons, but had not found a place or a stylist who wowed me – until Image Makers! I have always appreciated the high degree of professionalism and friendliness not just from my talented stylist (Holley), but from the front desk staff, the nail technician and the massage therapist (who helped relieve a lot of pain from a herniated disc in my neck). I’ve even had a spray tan there and had a great experience with that, too. The salon is always clean, with a wide range of hair care products displayed in an attractive area in the front of the shop.
Holley has a true passion for what she does, having trained other hair professionals across the nation and styled models’ hair in NYC for fashion shows, and it’s reflected in my hair. It’s never looked better than it has in my time with her. She has a focus on keeping hair healthy and choosing cuts/​styles that work best with for each client, considering how much time we want to invest in styling, the texture of our hair, etc. I’m a blonde who gets highlights and lowlights, and I see her about every six weeks for cut and color. It’s money that’s well spent, and her prices are far better than others with less expertise at some of the pricey downtown salons. (So don’t stress making that drive to the Northeast! It’s worth it.) Every single time I leave Holley’s chair my hair looks ready for a runway (even though I’m not!).
(Shannon also did my hair once when Holley was unavailable, and I loved her work, too. Total thumbs up.)

I have been going to IM for at least 7 years. Shannon is great– helps with creating the perfect haircut and color. I don’t know what I would do without her! Not only does she do great hair but she always makes me laugh! She is awesome!

I got great balayage color. The first time the color didn’t take because I already had a lot of color in my hair, so I had to come back. But Shannon did not charge me for the second time and did a great job. The salon is very nice, and both times I came, I was seen right at the appointed time, which for me is really important.

I see Holley for my hair and she’s fantastic. Does a very nice job at a good price, and she’s about as sweet as they come. She books up pretty far in advance (2 – 3 weeks, at least) but is well worth the wait.
