Definitely a good buffet! Collectively, I’ve been here about 4 times in the last 3 months. Once at lunch, once around 3, and twice during regular busy dinner hours. Hostesses and servers are always nice! The make-you-own hibachi is always tasty and it doesn’t every come out«oily» like with some other places. Decent sushi selection! Once I asked the sushi chef if he could make a rainbow roll and he did. A lot of different things to choose from!

I came in about 11:30 for lunch. Many of the chicken dishes were not even warm yet. Some of the chicken I bit into was even cool in the middle. When I complained the staff didn’t seem too concerned. I will never return.

Came into the buffet around 7:30pm on a Sunday. Not sure why but they started to clean up at 8 when the sign outside said they closed at 9.30pm. They even took away the soy sauce for my sushi! Anyways…the sushi selection was small. For some reason, they stopped bringing in the other fresh food too. Hibachi was good since they had cabbage which goes well with any food. I give the restaurant a 2 because I was confused why they would put an out of order sign at the ice cream machine when I know for a fact it was still working when I had gone back for seconds. I ignore the signed and got the ice cream again. Btw… they also were cleaning the bathroom way before closing. I seriously felt being rushed out when it’s not even near closing time. Overall, food was okay but service was not. Paid around $ 15 bucks per person with tip.

My wife and I have frequented this restaurant for the past 4 years, and it was without a doubt, the best chinese buffet in Columbia. Lately, they have been falling off, and will sometimes have no vegetables, wow! But, overall it is a good buffet at a decent value. Very clean and organized. All the items are delicious and temperature appropriate.

Not bad. Decent selection, even close to closing. The quality isn’t the most amazing, and it tastes like every other Chinese buffet in town.

It was your run of the mill Chinese buffet. No complaints but I went hoping they’d have a lot of sushi. Like 10 rolls of fake crab and 1 of real sushi meat. It was again your run of the mill joint. Not bad not good. Don’t go for sushi.

I must’ve passed this place 1 million times over the years, and just never gave it any thought. Until I was alone for Thanksgiving. While my family was 1000 miles away eating turkey, I was feasting on steak and shrimp and sushi, and many other delightful delicacies. I have seriously never been to a Chinese buffet that has crème brûlée, which actually happened to be delicious. I rarely give five stars. The service was attentive, it was surprisingly clean, it was comfortable, and everyone was polite and friendly. The food was fresh, and well-prepared. Big buffets tend to gross me out honestly, but this was so nice that it felt almost like being at a family feast. It was a nice experience, and I will definitely try it again on a not-holiday. They had a wide variety of standard dishes, tasty vegetables, my favorite Kim chee, a fresh looking salad bar, but also ham and turkey for the day, and I don’t know if they always have steak but I certainly felt special eating it.

I have never been to a Chinese buffet like this one… They are very accommodating and welcoming. The food is good and always fresh. Most buffets close to closing would not even bother to make more good for u they made sure if we wanted something we had it. I would recommend this place hands down.

Bad restaurant report card! Beware! Jasmine Buffet, 7461 Two Notch Rd., Columbia — 78B — Food dropped on ground then placed with good food — Dishes not being washed with soap or sanitizer — Employees not washing hands between contamination events

This place is not bad at all. The sushi, my main reason for coming here, is always fresh and plentiful. Service is usually quick and waiters are friendly.

The food here taste bad and is not fresh even for buffet standards. Been here many times over the pass 2 years and I regretted each time. So I come on here to warn others.. Please just skip this buffet. If not completely at least skip the $ 9 lunch(weekday prices).

We’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while. The place is okay, there’s a lot of people when we came which it gave us a good impression the moment we step in the restaurant. Ramon and I is happy to the food options they have of course the same things from all the Chinese buffet :) but for the amount of food they have on the restaurant is quite overwhelming. We eat everywhere so we like to see what they offer from the food itself and the service they provided. Unfortunately they need to work on providing great customer service. The waitresses are too busy cleaning up the tables and we felt we are being neglected by those people. Ramon is shaking his glass of ice purposely so hard to let them know that our glass is empty. It’s really funny what was happen but I think it’s not bad If you just want to eat and go. Will come by again… Maybe…

Best Chinese buffet in Columbia! Lots of hot choices to choose from, and salad bar items that include raw oysters, fresh fruit and jello. Plus they have a sushi bar, hibachi grill, and dessert bar. Some of the standout items include the steak, chicken, and shrimp on the hibachi grill, amazing fresh garlic green beans, crawfish, salmon, dumplings with dipping sauce, and a salty and spicy lightly breaded and pan fried house chicken. My family and I eat here at least once a month and we don’t even waste our time with other Chinese buffets because they don’t even come close.

I give this a 3star just because staff and the restaurant nice and clean and the food is ok. But as far as the taste and food selection goes eeeh nothing special. Typical Chinese buffet. I would recommend this place if you a mile away but definitely not worth a drive. Happy eating

I eat here a few times a month. It’s a clean restaurant, with pretty decent food. The hibachi is good, and the buffet food has always been warm and mostly fresh. I’m not a sushi fan, but I would say for buffet sushi, it looks like it should meet expectations. The negative reviews I’ve read seem like they were expecting 5-star restaurant quality entrees and sushi. But it’s a buffet. On the not-so-great end of Two Notch. So all things considered, it’s a good place to eat. My drink never goes empty, and I always leave satisfied and full.

This restaurant needs a visit by the healt inspector. Cooks without head cover(hair net), greasy and durty stoves. The hibashi cook pick bottles and a 5 gallon from the floor and continue cooking with out washing the hands and the same flat grill greasy and durty all around it. And much more details that will have this establisment to closed. I informed the server and manager who was at the reguister and I walk out and still had to pay for it. Also alot of trash around the building.

This is a pretty average Chinese buffet. The restaurant was clean and the food fresh. I didn’t try the hibachi but their sushi was decent, about on par with what you expect in a buffet. The menu was fairly standard with nothing spectacular except maybe the dumplings which were my favorite item on the buffet. I would come here again but it’s certainly not the best Chinese buffet I’ve been too. Still, it’s pretty nice for the area.
