This was my first time in the Columbia Mall and I really wanted boba after grabbing a light lunch in the area. My friend and I remembered seeing this kiosk while walking around the mall earlier so we decided to go back to check out their drinks. Although it was evident that this place made their boba/smoothies from powder(bc geez if you missed all the powder flavors organized on the counter and still expected non-powder boba then not sure what to say) my milk tea was still great. I didn’t get a powdery after taste and my tapioca was cooked to perfection. At first I was a little surprised to see that my milk tea had an off-white color but the color did not affect the taste. The price wasn’t bad either and the two ladies working here were very nice and friendly.

I ordered the coconut milk tea and it tasted rancid so I asked if I could try the Thai milk tea as a replacement. Both had hard, crunchy and boba that was virtually flavorless. The tea itself was a powdery mess that almost tasted of spoiled milk. Inedible.

By far the worst Thai tea I’ve ever had in my life. Didn’t know it was possible to mess up a simple Thai tea. It had an almost powdery aftertaste. Absolutely gross. Couldn’t even finish my drink. Don’t waste your money here.

I got the boba milk tea here. It is unfortunate that there are not many boba places in the area, because this place’s boba is disgusting. It might taste fine if you don’t know what boba or milk tea are supposed to taste like, but if you have had boba or milk tea, this place’s boba milk tea is nothing like it. The first red flag was that the milk tea was way too white — it’s supposed to be a dark tan rather than off-white. When I looked behind the counter to see how they made it, they filled up half the cup with tea blend, and half with a white liquid that I assume was milk. I can’t say for sure what they were adding, but I know that when I tried it, the milk tea tasted like powdered milk with a dash of tea! This is not how it’s supposed to be made, it should be tea with a dash of milk!(Plus other ingredients like sugar, etc.) Second, the boba itself tasted fine but was not cooked right — it was a bit tough. «Boba milk tea» here is not boba milk tea. Service was fine, price is average.

Usually I get the fruit tea here, specifically the peach or mango, and it’s not bad. Definitely had better before, and the boba can be a hit or a miss — sometimes they’ll be perfectly chewy, and other times they’ll be cooked unevenly(mushy outside and uncooked inside). The milk teas are subpar — you definitely get that powdery aftertaste, bleh. However, the portions you get are fairly generous for the price, and the owners/cashiers are always so nice and polite! If you’re browsing the mall or in the Columbia area. and suddenly crave bubble tea, this place is a viable option. Just stick to the fruit teas or smoothies!

I’ll start off by saying that I did not try the bubble tea yet, instead I had a fruit(strawberry and lemon) smoothie. It was good at first but after a while I’m not sure if it was the consistency of the flavor or what I kind of got tired of the taste and my stomach started to hurt. I suppose that it’s just me so don’t let this deter you. For about $ 4.00 you get a sufficient amount of smoothie as well. Definitely a must go to place if you’re ever in the Columbia Mall.

Yet another Boba tea place that makes their Thai milk Boba from powder. Boba was unflavored and cooked unevenly. I don’t understand. Why can’t we just do real tea, half and half and flavored Boba balls? Help me jebus.

Seriously, this was the nastiest milk tea boba I’ve ever had. It was made from powder milk and it was absolutely disgusting. I’m sorry I wasted my $ 4 here!

OMG! I love this place. This is one of my favorite bubble tea places in Columbia. I used to stop here a lot when I was working in Columbia. I would usually get a medium sized Thai tea bubble tea, taro bubble tea, or a strawberry banana smoothie. The staff is always friendly and they are open to letting you customize your drink they way you want it, which is a plus in my book. I usually sub out the boba for their jellies because the jellies did add a lot more flavor to your bubble tea. I highly recommend trying it out even though the boba is still a choice. You do get a lot for your money. Also, don’t order a large if you’re out shopping because will need to pee a lot. Trust me, I didn’t once, not the best feeling in the world. Do be prepared for a wait on the weekends, as they do experience a crowd, but it’s so worth it at the end of the day. Don’t forget to inquire about the stamp card, you get a free small drink after 6 purchases, which is worth it if you are a frequent visitor like myself.

This place is why I have gone to the Columbia Mall the past 3 times. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice mall but this is also awesome bubble tea(and smoothies). The staff is so nice every time and they welcome any type of drink customization. There was only 1 time I felt like the boba was a little old but 1 out of 20 isn’t too bad and I just cannot deduct a whole star for that. Taro is my favorite flavor by far although I have only had a couple others to compare it to.

i LOVE the variety of smoothies they have at this stand, and the people that work there are really nice! The mall closes at 9 and they were packing up their stuff and still made me a smoothie i was really excited! Anyway, the only thing i dont like is that if you use a credit card you have to get a medium which sometiems is way toooo much for me. I tried the boba and they were okay, the were a bit slimy and i had never experience boba like that. In conclusion i love their smoothies but the jasmine tea boba was bland and the boba was slimy :/ I go here every time i go to the mall so that has got to say something am i right?

4.5 stars — among the best tasting smoothies around. Ordered the green apple smoothie and strawberry banana with bubble pearls.

I love me some bubble tea! I was so happy to find this place in the mall. I just realized that they let you mix two flavors, so I chose coconut and papaya, pretty tasty! The tapioca balls are perfect, but I somehow manage to have some left over after drinking the whole tea. The staff is very nice and friendly. Also, don’t forget to ask for a stamp card. I just earned my free one!

Located at a kiosk at the top of the escalator by Spencer’s in Columbia Mall. It’s not cheap but the sizes are quite generous. Got my mom to try bubble tea for the first time here and she enjoyed it, after I explained the purpose of the wide straws. :) They have plenty of flavors to choose from for both the bubble teas and the smoothies. They also often give samples of the smoothies so drop by and taste a freebie. The service is speedy and the quality of the product is good. Go try it!
