Not an avid department store shopper. But I do enjoy a good shop at Macy’s especially when they have sales going on. Check them out on holidays or when they are having annual sales!

If you’re a plus-​size woman trying to find clothes, I wouldn’t even bother with this Macy’s. The selection of plus size clothing here is atrocious. I’ve never seen so many velour type track suits and ugly bedazzled shirts. Maybe they think us husky ladies of the Midwest enjoy tacky butterfly covered shirts encrusted in gems, but they would be wrong. Their shoe department is also lacking. Dillard’s has them beat by a mile. They do have good sales on the shoes they do have, but their selection is nowhere near as good as Dillard’s. The jewelry selection is also hideous. It seems like they have had the same stuff there since they opened although surely that can’t be the case.

Macy’s is two stories tall and has a huge selection of clothing. I have found a couple very nice and professional outfits from here and the discounts were great so I didn’t spend too much. One of the entries is right next to the perfume section though and it stinks like crazy whenever I first enter the building.

Good Macy’s. Has a great selection. The staff is very nice and the store is clean. The only issue I have is finding a place to park.
