Microtel Inn

Nothing good. Was there for 20 minutes and discovered an adult bed bug crawling on the curtain!
Left immediately and got a refund. I could tell that the man at front knew about them. Whatever you do, don’t stay here.

Where to start? The second night here, there was a drive by in the parking lot. On any given night, there are several hookers and pimps working. The stream of Johns is non stop day and night. The water was dirty the first day and night and never tasted right. I stuck to bottled water. I gave two stars for the easy access to cheap sex. Lol. I would not recommend staying here. I had to because my work made me because it was inexpensive. Also the WiFi sucks.

2) Good location to get to Ft. Jackson
3) Decent free wifi
Cons
1) Room not cleaned well– my 5 year old found someone’s underwear under the bed.
2) Hallways smell of smoke and are unconditioned.
3) Water pressure is horrible
4) No shampoo provided (never had this happen at a hotel or motel)
5) Very modest breakfast provided (two kinds of cereal, 3 kinds of pastry, 3 kinds of bagel, 1 kind of milk and coffee with and without caffine)

Definitely would not go back into this hotel ever again.
The first night I came in, it reeked of smoke. The only worker at front desk came to help us and was bare foot. As soon as we got into the room we had a hard time closing the front door. The carpet looked so filthy that I had shoes on at all times. As I got into the bathroom, I noticed that the bathroom’s trash was not picked up from previous customers. I looked into the bathtub and at the bottom of the tub was dirty. It did not seem like any one came to clean. Could not stand it any longer so I checked out after 2 nights and checked into another hotel for the rest of my trip.
The only reason why I gave a one star was because the wi-​fi was free and had free HBO channels.
