Went in expecting decent service since it was recently opened. There were two of us and we asked for the staff to switch out there latex gloves for new ones since we didn’t want the previously created meat dishes on there hands. They clearly didn’t like this request and begrudgingly stitched them out. Even after all that our food was mediocre at best. We had salads and pizza sry that time but I’m not sure if I would go back to give it another try.

Good pizza but really sad employees. No smiles. No «thank you’s». Just slide the pizza box across the counter and stare. These girls need to have some fun. Pizza is fun. If you want to frown at customers all day, go be a fussy barista.

One word for mod: yummy! Thank you for having dairy free cheese and unlimited veggies at the same price :). I’m deducting one star because I wish your red sauce was vegan. That would be amazing!

Mod pizza is just okay for me. It’s fine. Always seems to be poorly run when I’m in there. It is fast tho and the price is good. The crust is where it’s at. However I have a very important suggestion: it’s great you have vegan choices, but what’s not great is all the cross contamination. Take a gloved right hand for meat and the other for no meat. They use the same hands for everything and rub all the pizzas down. For any vegetarian out there this is a total nightmare(or kosher, halal, ect). So, I got a «vegan» pizza, but the guy made a bacon pepperoni next to me not changing gloves, and sloppily mixing all the toppings together, in the bins, hands, and pizzas? No. Call me a purist, but I’m not. Most establishments like this have choices for a reason(i.e. chipotle). Please change your glove and be less sloppy.

Absolutely delicious! They have so many good choices for your pizza. And you can have as many as you want.

I ordered the mod salad and felt it was an amazing value for the price and the toppings. The regular«mod» size is a bit big for one person, so I’d try the side next time to compare, but it was great as leftovers and cost less than a salad elsewhere in Columbia.

This has been one of the better quick service pizza places I have frequented. It’s second to me only to Bagby pizza in Baltimore. The crust is good specifically and the service isn’t bad at all. There is of course a wait for the assembly line style pizza creation and for it to cook but that’s fine. The online ordering leaves a lot to be desired. It seems to be an older system that doesn’t work as well for someone used to ordering online and the single register isn’t good for picking up. There isn’t a real process for that. Overall it’s a pretty good experience.

We had a nice meal here tonight. The place is small but cozy and comfortable. I can’t say it’s the best product on the market(bagby pizza in pikesville is better). But being so close to us, MOD is definitely a quick and fun place. Although it seems to be the new craze these days I still love the concept of the fast, made to order pizza. Plus they know how to do it right here. The salad was decent too and I like how you can pretty much get whatever you want in terms of unlimited toppings. It’s cheap too and the pear iced tea is delicious. I think that on weekends finding parking is going to be difficult. But tonight we had no problem.

Good fast-casual pizza across from Columbia Town Center. Tasty, quick, reasonably priced, and a fun atmosphere. They have preset pizzas you can order or modify, or you can build your own. All for the same price. We had garlic strips with pesto, a mini(side) Caesar, the ‘mad dog’, and the ‘dominic’. The salad and pizzas were fresh and filling without being greasy or putting you in a food coma. The garlic strips were fine, but forgettable. My only real complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that most of the staff seemed like they were still figuring things out. The brunette woman was on top of things, but everyone else seemed to be milling about and trying to remember how things worked. Great place to add to the fast-casual repertoire. You can only go to Panera, Chipotle, or Noddles & Co. so many times in a row.

Specifically comparing to other pizza places, I rate it a four. Casual atmosphere. Service was great! The guy who prepared our pizza had a cheerful attitude and was happy to explain the process. I really like that the pizza is made to order and you can customize it to your liking. Taste wise, the pizza was good. I like thin crust pizza more than pan pizza, so point one to MOD pizza. It was not heavy and I imagine it is healthier than other pizzas. You do not feel sick after eating considering you are eating a whole pizza by your self. For instance, if I just went through a break up and ate a whole MOD pizza and bottle of wine by myself with tears rolling down my face, my body would not hate me the next day. At least for the pizza. Price is around $ 8 per pizza. I would come here again when in the mood for some artisan pizza.

This isn’t the best and most memorable pizza I’ve ever had — BUT it’s quick, and reasonable in price. Good choice for a quick lunch. Order online and pick up if you want to avoid waiting in line. I needed something quick at work, and this was the closest place to me. As for vegan options — they were limited in sauce. The only thing I could get was bbq or garlic rub. So I did the garlic rub and picked artichokes, black olives, roasted red peppers, green peppers, red onion, spinach, mushrooms and roasted brussel sprouts with the daiya cheese. The crust is super thin and burns easily. The crust is nice and light though which I liked. Toppings were good and pretty generous. The only downfall was the garlic rub. It was bland and no sauce made the pizza pretty dry. Again, not bad for something quick. But not my first choice pizza. &pizza is definitely much better in terms of quick make-your-own-pizza. Service was okay. Prices were good.

My new fav pizza lunch spot! The pizza is pretty good for the price. Thin crust, nothing remarkable, but decent. The toppings are great, super fresh and out shine the dull dough. The pesto sauce is awesome, although the red sauce is bland. I also like the salads. The mini pizza and salad pair well together. The best kept secret is the blackberry lemonade! Soooo sweet and tart! The prices are great considering the quality ingredients. I wish they had a member rewards program. And brownies… They should serve brownies. I plan to be a frequent visitor!

For the price it’s decent pizza and they are super flexible, whatever you want on it for the same price. The seating area is comfortable and good for large groups. As one of the rare pizza with coffee diners I went next door to the bakery for the coffee. The staff is friendly.

Mod Pizza i was lucky enough to stop by when Mod was just opening. the luck was that they were offering free food for the day! I came back later that evening with my wife and we enjoyed dinner there. My wiife said the pizza tasted more like a flat bread which is not saying it’s bad; in fact we enjoyed it. the salid I had tasted freash and plentyful. The pizza comes with all their plentiful toppings, as many as you may want, for no additional cost, which i like. I’m heading back tonight to enjoy this delicous pizza/flat bread.

Amazing pizza! Same price for any pizza you can think up. I love the numerous topping choices, the crust is delicious, and the order process is perfect. They over-cooked mine, I let them know I didn’t like it that way and they made a new one immediately just the way I liked it. Fantastic place!

Went there just this afternoon to try it out. Sorry to say I will not be returning. Don’t get me wrong, the food’s decent. Not the best pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life, but probably the best you’ll ever find for the price they offer it for.(The small caveat being that it’s thin crust pizza, which I’m not usually a fan of — but, again, it wasn’t bad.) So why the 1-star review? Well, first, they’ve apparently got a $ 7.25 minimum price for online orders. This isn’t uncommon and normally a number that low wouldn’t even concern me, but when your personal-sized pizza is right about 5 bucks, that forces me as a customer to get extra items that I may not want to buy, just to clear minimum. Maybe there’s a specific reason for it, but it seems archaic to me. It’s basically a backdoor convenience charge and I don’t really appreciate that. Second and worst of all, I feel like I didn’t get the same customer service care that the walk-in customers received. When my pizza was finished cooking, they simply set it on the counter and no one called a name or a number. I had to get the cashier’s attention to let her know that it was my pizza. And then she turned around and walked away to tend to some other walk-ins while I was trying to mention that I needed a cup for the fountain soda I paid $ 1.79 to buy(that I didn’t really need, by the way — but, again, I had to clear that $ 7.25 minimum). Eventually, I grew so fed up trying to get her attention that I walked out without the soda. I’m not sure if this was a case of the cashier being rude or this place simply being a staffer or two short of being able to run efficiently, but I don’t have much patience for either. I don’t like the idea that I’m getting bad customer service just because some CEO or franchise owner wants to keep that much extra money in his pocket. Understaffed businesses get crossed off my list really quickly for that very reason. So if anyone from MOD is reading this: The people for whom you are performing the service are more important than product or even profit. If you fail to get that right, you won’t last very long.

This will definitely become a favorite lunch place very quickly. My first visit was welcoming and the food was way better than I expected. Such a great way to make pizza! Chipotle style. The brick oven makes the crust perfect and the selection of toppings is amazing! I will definitely be trying more in the very near future.
