Molly Maid of The Midlands and West Columbia

The owner writes: «My goal is 100% customer satisfaction in the house cleaning industry. Integrity, honesty, respect, and responsibility are the foundation of Molly Maid and my core business beliefs.». Complete, utter, total, 100% LIE. I filed a complaint with the BBB after being charged $ 238 for a move-​out cleaning (meaning my home was empty). It took them 3.5 hours to not vacuum my floors, not clean one of my bathrooms, not mop my kitchen floors or wipe the counters, and not sweep my screened in porch. I gave them an incorrect key to lock my front door after they were done cleaning, which to my knowledge at the time was the correct key. Turns out, it did not in fact lock any door to my house, but the maids went ahead and locked all of my doors, which locked me out of the house, without a courtesy phone call telling me of the key mix up. I had to call a locksmith. Before I had to reclean my entire home before my move-​out inspection. The customer service was appalling. I was shamed for having a black dog that shed, which was one of the main reasons I hired a maid– because we were moving and the movers took my vacuum. The rep, Robin, tried to embarrass me which was extremely rude. She wrote down in my «file» that I had 3 dogs… nope. Even if I did, it shouldn’t matter. Do your job. The owner continues to place the blame on me and is no reputable owner at all. The only solution they offered was for me to pay for them to come back out and re-​clean when I expressly told them that I would not have access to the property any more. If he was any kind of business person, he should then have offered to refund some if not all of my money after I made it abundantly clear that I was not happy with the service (on top of the fact that I had to hire a locksmith when a simple call to me to come lock up after them would have sufficed). DO NOT USE THEM. Integrity, honesty and respect most of all are severely lacking from this franchise location. I hope they are not doing this to other people. I have literally never been so disrespected in my life.
