Really good place for the money and for a quick snack. Pei Wei has a bit of a ‘fast food’ vibe to it, in that you order at the register and serve yourself drinks, but the ingredients tasted fresh and the sushi was better than expected. We ordered a teriyaki bowl and two orders of rolls and everything was pretty good for the price. It also came out probably about 10 minutes after ordering and you could watch them making you food if you wanted to, which was cool. This is no Nobu but I’m reviewing it as a fast food spot, and in that category it gets a 5⁄5.

Today the only employee working the floor, bussing tables, replenishing, cashier, ordering, dine in, take out, etc. argued with me as To how long I had been waiting for service after reentering due to phone call where she had not acknowledged me from the start before the call… so now I’m at Stanford Grill at the bar. My self image is way to big for her 7.$ insult.

This is one of our standard dinner or to go places. It’s got something for everyone in my family. I love the caramel chicken, my husband loves the spicy Sriracha chicken and my daughter loves the kids lo mein. Everyone gets a fortune cookie and al the refills you want from their Coke machines that slow you to mix any drink you want. Service could be friendlier, but the food is good so I will keep going back.

Food is a cheaper version of PF Changs, but the meat is subpar. I ordered DanDan Noodles with Chicken and it had quite a bit of fatty meat

This is the perfect date place, I don’t feel like cooking dinner for my kids place, a Iunch date out with a gal friend kinda place and a gee, looks like I got $ 10 and some change in my wallet, kinda place. It’s THAT place and better. My list of loves: Iced chai vanilla cinnamon tea Iced orange green tea, with all the tea fixings to include sliced oranges (with me, it’s all about the tea) Home-made, buttery, gooey and warm chocolate chip cookies — bet you had absolutely NO idea that this placed served these up Fresh not frozen ingredients Just cooked and not reheated Something other than the ho-hum broccoli, carrot, onion mix Flavors that POP in your mouth 2 Entrees *my small salad fed me for two days* 2 beverages(and I don’t mean water), an appetizer and 4 cookies(I know, me bad) = $ 24. Can we say, looks like mom’s going to Kohl’s today?! Why not 5 stars, you may ponder? Well, I’m a tough critic and my gripe had to do with pineapple in my salad. Tasting like from a can — gasp! Come on; it was a nearly perfect meal — the salad with all those crispy fresh veggies, spunky dressing with heat and sweet. I chucked the those pineapple chunks and savored the contrasting flavors. Trust me though, I didn’t suffer too much.((smiles))

Unfortunately, I wasn’t really impressed by this Pei Wei location. I ordered the Sesame chicken and honey seared chicken, both with noodles. The noodles were very dry and there wasn’t enough sauce on the dish. However, the crab ragoon and the chicken was good. I’ve tried the Pei Wei in Fredericksburg, VA and had a much better experience. I plan on giving this location another chance. Hopefully, my next visit will be different.

Salty salts swimming in sugar and grease! I don’t know what I was thinking I could get a «healthy» meal here. I left feeling awful, like I needed a bath and several glasses of water.

Had lunch here with my son while we were out shopping for parts for a project. Almost went to Fuddruckers but since I’d never been to Pei Wei, my son encouraged me to try it. This is a quick-service type place where you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I got some kind of garlic chicken that I can’t remember the name of, and white rice. I also got a small(4 pieces) spicy tuna roll. Blah. The sushi was TERRIBLE! The rice was not sushi rice as the grains were far too long and tough and half dried out. The nori was chewy and the tuna was more bland than fresh and spicy. This is be considered a crime. The rice on the plate with the chicken wasn’t any better, being tough and dry like it had been reheated over and over for the past couple days. Even if they gave this stuff to me for free, I’d probable only eat it if I hadn’t eaten in a couple days. Won’t return here.

Disgusting food! I used to order from here regularly like 2−3x month. After 8 month hiatus I got an order of Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken both regular size. I got home and opened the box and it looked like someone’s leftovers not even a small size it’s more like a kids size! The size doesn’t matter when it taste like crap. I tried a piece and it was so gross, just chucked it. I used to love this dish. Now I won’t have this craving anymore. They must have changed cooks. Holy crap it is disgusting I ended up throwing both away they smell and taste like my dogs vomit. Will not return.

I use to REALLY like this place however over the last 6 months the service I have received has really turned me off. Upon arrival the girl with the blue hair told me it would be a 10 min wait for our food which is typical I thought for a sit down restaurant. She then preceded to tell me that they combine dining with carry out. I’m not sure why I needed to know that info? She mostly mumbled the rest of whatever she said. There was also no heat. Everyone has a bad day but I felt like I was at a drive thru not pei Wei.

Food is hit or miss. Routinely understaffed. They’ve messed up my order a couple times of late. Fairly average.

Eaten here before but this time it was not good. Don’t know what the cooks were thinking flaring up three of the Wok’s to the height of the fire suppression system. It was not called for and also dangerous in my opinion. They were playing with three Wok’s and firing them up with so much flame I and my party could feel the heat across the room and we were on the far side against the wall. Also the girl in the yellow shirt and another crew member were throwing food at each other behind the counter. All this was funny to them! With all this happening the food was being burned as it’s not hard to smell sugar burning or meat being over cooked.

Ordered two kids meals, one arrived, other they forgot. The one that arrived was raw chicken. When manager was told — wasn’t even worth their time to stop by the table. Never eating here again.

First time eating here today… stop by to grab a quick bite to eat before starting my Saturday shopping and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. Today I had sweet and sour chicken and some mango California rolls and every bite was pleasant! I highly recommend.

I love PF Changs and Pei Wei is owned by PF Changs and is the less expensive version. There are no waiters bringing you water and taking your order. Instead you place your order and you are given a number to place at your table. You then walk to the beverage /condiments /silverware /take out container section and get what you want. I’m in love with the beverage dispenser which has a wide variety of choices. My personal favorite is the Dasani water that comes in a variety of flavors. Before I could get my beverage, my meal was already on the table. Now that’s fast food! My meal was just as tasty as it would have be at PF Changs. Whose winning now? This girl is! Did I mention, this Pei Wei is also clean(to include the bathroom) which is huge in my book! I’m happy and satisfied and I can’t ask for much more.

I generally steer clear of chain restaraunts. While it’s parent, PF Chang’s does a convincing job of making tolerable Asian food for people who don’t like Asian food, this place is truly all kinds of sub par. With a borderline offensive name, the food is bland, and the sauces incredibly sweet and salty. I was duped into trying it out of desperation of finding a healthier Asian food place. It touts healthier options, but the food definitely takes like its both sky high in sodium and sugars. Pre-made processed sauces undoes the veggie and Brown rice healthier options. That brown rice is also the driest brown rice I’ve ever experienced. Like eating pebbles. I suppose if one eats Subway, then you’ll like this place.

We ordered ton of stuff. Thai chicken lettuce wrap, traditional chicken lettuce wrap, hot and sour soup, teriyaki beef, beef thai dynamite, steak lo mein and mango california roll. I didn’t try the teriyaki beef, but other than that the only 2 items I really enjoyed was the lettuce wraps. Thai chicken lettuce wrap has sweet and tangy taste to it, it’s very refreshing and little spicy. The traditional lettuce wrap is very similar to the ones you would get at PF Chang, very delicious. As for thai dynamite, it wasn’t bad, but the meat seemed breaded and fried, not what I was craving for or expecting. The steak lo mein was the worst because there was no flavor to it. I think they might have forgotten to add the seasoning because it was just lo mein noodles and steak. The other items were ok, nothing out of the ordinary.

I have been to Pei Wei twice. Each time the service was super-fast and the employees helpful and cheery(both times were takeout and I never waited longer than 20 minutes for my order). At this location I have had the Traditional Chicken Lettuce Wraps which contains shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, rice sticks and iceberg lettuce. To me these lettuce wraps taste just like the ones at P.F. Changs and they are half the price($ 6.99)! The Ginger Broccoli is always a great go-to savory dish consisting of sweet soy sauce, scallions, ginger, garlic and broccoli. To me this dish always does the trick, also cheaper than P.F. Changs($ 8.99). The last item is the remarkable super delicious Kung Pao Chicken entrée. This entrée has brown rice, chicken, chile seared soy sauce, scallions, garlic, snap peas, carrots and peanuts. It is a peppery one so watch out! This Pei Wei has a cute little patio outside too! Also, I saw recently online that this location now serves sushi?! I must try it! Open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am — 9:30pm, Friday through Saturday from 11:00am — 10:00pm and Sunday 11:00am — 9:30pm.

If you enjoy PF Chang’s cuisine, you’ll love Pei Wei. Owned by PF, the approach is smaller portions and price with a cozier atmosphere. Everything from soups, wraps, to you favorite dishes can be enjoyed… and quickly! It’s a nice casual feel which is sure to bring you back!

First time here & it was pretty good. I like PF Changs & this is the cheaper, faster version. Ordered the honey chicken combo with brown rice & veggie spring roll. I will return to try the other dishes & hopefully can get them non-spicy since I’m unable to eat spicy food.
