The chicken plate was wonderful! I got it to go and had leftovers for lunch the next day! Their tzatziki sauce was great and so was the chicken gyro! Definitely wouldn’t expect it judging by its location and appearance.

Ordered the gyro plate and it was delicious! Very large portion sizes and very fresh! Came with salad, rice, sauce and pita bread. The bread was super fresh and delicious. Gyro meat was awesome and so was the rice! Very friendly staff and getting take-out was easy!!! highly recommended!!!

I had heard good things about this place, so I stopped in this afternoon to pick up takeout for my family. I got three chicken plates, one gyro plate, and one falafel plate, along with a spinach pie, an order of falafel, and baklava. The chicken was tender, the rice was delicious, the falafel was great, and the spinach pie was better than I expected it to be. It’s located in the trailer beside Superama that has been many different restaurants during my lifetime. I hope this one sticks around because even after driving for thirty minutes it was still great food. We will be getting more food from here in the future.

Just had an early dinner here, and this place is great! The staff was nice, and the food was fresh and delicious. I had the sample plate which had falafal, hummus, tabouli, stuffed grape leaves, pita bread and a small salad. It was a filling, healthy meal for a good price. My husband had a chicken sandwhich in a pita, which he said was great as well. And they have homemade baklava, which is delicious! Give this place a try if you’re looking for something different in Columbia. They are open from 10 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday — closed on Sunday.

I stopped by Pita Plus Gyros during a busy work day. My expectations for this place weren’t very high, as it appears to be a hole in the wall smack dab in the middle of Columbia. I went for the gyro plate, which was nothing short of delicious. The meat was moist and flavorful, topped with Taziki sauce on an abundant bed of rice. The Greek salad accompanying it was plentiful, though lacked enough dressing to actually«bind» the salad together. It was also missing a staple of a Greek salad… Kalamata olives! The pita bread was fresh and warm, nearly dissolving on my tongue it was so good! Overall, I was impressed with the food, even if it was a carry out order. I will definitely be back to try their gyro sandwich plate, which looked amazing!

The gyro meat is good, the tabouli is good, the rice isn’t so great and their«tzatziki sauce» is very ranch like. It’s an ok place to get your gyro fix

For Columbia, TN this is an above average ‘hole in the wall’ Mediterranean restaurant. It was packed over the entire lunch hour and several locals were raving about their food in line. I had the appetizer sampler with hummus/pita, tabbouleh, greek salad, dolmades, falafel, tzatziki and Greek chicken on the side. Here is what I thought of the following: –Hummus– bland, but I still ate ALL of it(cause it’s hummus and you don’t waste hummus) –Tabbouleh– exceptional and refreshing(it was my favorite) –Greek salad– good dressing –Dolmades– bleh. Way too soggy –Falafel– I never have these because I avoid fried food like the plague, but these were pretty good! –Tzatziki– normally my favorite part, but NOT good. I threw it away. Tzatziki is not made, nor ever should be, with sour cream! Turkish people, knock it off. –Greek Chicken– good enough. But basically chicken Greek seasoning. It is by no means an authentic Greek restaurant, but if you are looking for an inexpensive gyro or Greek salad this place will satisfy. I’m only giving it three stars because I’m a authentic Greek food snob(Greek Islands in Omaha, NE– my love 4eva) but it was still a good lunch!

Love it. So glad to have ethnic food in C-town. This is legit Greek and Mediterranean food. Great big portions at an affordable price. I have eaten here at least twice a week since they opened. Great service too. Give them a try.

I was really excited when I saw this place open recently. A first for Columbia — definitely a great addition to our food scene here. On our first visit we found the interior to be clean, quaint and cozy, with faux red brick walls and Mediterranean artwork. Don’t forget the obligatory Gyros posters! The owners/staff were super-friendly and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. The food was very fresh, made to order. Our party ordered a Gyro sandwich with rice, a chicken sandwich with fries, a Falafel plate, and a Combo Salad(gyro and chicken). The portions were VERY generous — nice! The falafel was some of the best, if not THE best, we’ve ever had at similar«Greek» restaurants. Perfectly cooked and expertly spiced. The sandwiches were served pocket-style rather than wrap-style like most other Greek joints I typically go to. This is nice because it allows for a LOT of stuffin’ inside of that sucker, but the downside is it’s harder to eat and harder to evenly distribute the ingredients. About the only negatives I can recall is that the rice was on the bland and oily side(not that anyone goes to a restaurant for the rice), and the hummus left a little to be desired(too much tahini maybe?) Overall the food was excellent but not superb, which would’ve garnered 5 stars. We will definitely be back — wishing the best for this place.
