Shear Perfection

I was going to a much more expensive salon near 5 Points. One of my co-​workers sugested I try Shear Perfection (Vicky & Connie) is more than perfect.
I get my waist-​lenth hair trimmed every few months and my well-​earned gray gets covered, and I get Lots of highlights. I’ve lived in Columbia 21 years, and this is the best I’ve found. They listen to what you want and then follow through unlike some hair stylist.
My husband also gets his hair cut there every couple of months to repair what a ‘stylist” did at one of those just out of school places/​
I have never heard of a complaint. Even when something turns out not as planned. They fix it either the same day or close as possible.

I recently moved to Columbia from Virginia, and was nervous about finding someone new to trust with my hair. I have wavy hair, and alot of it, so in the wrong hands it can turn out disastrous! I finally settled on Shear Perfection, and made an appointment with Jessica after asking specifically if she was trained for curly hair and color, and was assured that color is their specialty. The price is great, and I now know you get what you pay for. She was very sweet, but the environment is unprofessional, as they were all gossiping about the other clients. After hours in the chair, my hair turned out with brassy blond highlights, some were an inch away from the root, and many were different shades of blond as the streak went down my hair. The cut was just mediocre, with uneven strands and bad layering. The worst part was my eyebrow wax! Not only were they extremely uneven, but they were so thin they were almost completely gone! Luckily, they grew back pretty quickly, and I went to Unique Nails to have them done and they look perfect! Also, Brandi at Wisteria Salon hooked me up with a cut and color I am in love with! Yes, they are quite a bit more expensive, but like I said, you get what you pay for.

I go to Connie, one of the owners of Shear Perfection and she does an amazing job! Not only do I love the color and cut she provides, but I appreciate her knowledge of hair. She wants to preserve the hair’s health. I’ve gone places where they fry your hair with too much bleach, but I will never have to worry about that with Connie. Her prices are very affordable. I was shocked when she told me how much I owed her. Great experience!
