Me and a friend went to one of the classes here and had a really good time. They offer classes and an area for people to do their own freestyle. They also have a wine bar where you can purchase alcohol while you paint. The painting we did was on the Eiffel Tower. This was one of the more complicated pictures and many people skipped parts of it. I thought the instructor did a good job simplifying things so everyone could complete the painting. He was also very helpful when people were having trouble or wanted to do something a little different. This was one of the more expensive wine and painting classes I have done but the atmosphere was exceptional, the painting choices were fabulous, and the instruction was good. I also liked the convenience of not needing to bring my own wine. If I am ever back in Columbia I would consider taking one of their classes again, especially since I feel they had some of the pest picture options.

My sister and I took our mom here for Mother’s Day and it was a great time. The instructor for the painting class we took was very helpful and knowledgable. He also went a pace that was good for both the beginner painters(like myself) as well as some of the more advanced painters. We had a few glasses of wine before we realized it was more economical to purchase a bottle. We had a bottle of moscato because their white wine selection is limited. No one else ate but we enjoyed the fire cracker shrimp the instructor recommended and they were awesome. My tab was around $ 50 for all our food and drinks. Overall it was a great time and we will definitely be regulars from now on.

I just had my first experience here and I will definitely be back. Mellow environment that stimulates creativity. I love everything about it and the idea that creativity truly flows without restriction.

This is the perfect spot to let your creative juices flow. Tons of space in here and(appropriately) well decorated to give you inspiration as you work on your masterpiece. They make set up really easy, grab an apron, pump your paint colors on your plate and go to your seat that’s set up with your easel, brushes and water. The instructor guides you step by step on how to create the painting. I was a little worried about how I’d be able to recreate the Gervais Bridge but he was great about going slowly enough for everyone and coming around to answer individual questions and provide feedback. The finished product is on the wall so you can reference that the whole time you are painting. Everyone is encouraged to do their own unique version so at the end it was really fun to see everyone’s personality expressed through their painting. Be sure you enjoy a glass of wine(yummy moscato) and also try the Blue Marlin appetizer menu. If in doubt go with the shrimp n grits, they melt in your mouth. I’ll be back soon; thanks for a great first experience for our Unilocal group!

What a surprise! We were visiting Townsend went for a walk. We came across Studio Cellar and it looked like fun. We were a group of 10 and we were welcomed in and did open painting. We had 4 kids all between 6 – 11 yo and 5 adults. The man working was so friendly and not at all faile by the craziness we brought with us. What a amazing experience, he was very helpful and friendly. Great with advice too for those who asked. After we were done he offered to ship those we couldn’t take seeing as we were flying home and couldn’t take them. Amazing experience! Blown away everyone is still talking about it!
