Super 8 Motel Columbia

Unfortunately, I need to add this new review since I can’t edit the previous review. I realize I spoke highly of this business before but I am now compelled to add a very not so nice review. While we were at the motel we kept the do not disturb sign on our door because we had our dog with us. We emptied our own trash and only asked for fresh towels once. After we left and were a serious distance down the road I realized I had left my white terrycloth robe hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door. I called and asked for the desk clerk, Phillip, to check for it and that I would happily pay the expense to ship it home. Phillip never returned my call. I called again the next day. The young lady who answered the phone asked Phillip and he stated no one found the robe. It is extremely disappointing to me to know «someone» on the staff chose to keep my robe rather than turning it in. NOW I AM GLAD I KEPT THE SIGN ON MY DOOR. Therefore I am changing from 5 stars to 1. It saddens me to do this.

My wife and I stayed here during a trip home for Christmas, it was fine. The lady who checked us in was not friendly, but everyone else we dealt with was very nice. This place is affordable and dog friendly, I would stay here again.

My favorite stop in Columbia! Clean spacious rooms for around 65 a night. Indoor pool and spa makes it well worth the cost.
