Mark in the plumbing department is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to demonstrate how to set up our water lines. He had an example ready and was more than willing to explain the process. It was a good learning experience. Appreciate him going the extra mile. You don’t find that too many places anymore.

This Home Depot is horrible! If you do manage to chase down someone that works there they won’t have a clue where anything is.

Great Hone Depot to shop at if you know what you need and where it is located in the store. Most of the employees seem to be in the checkout areas — 2 in customer service, 1 in self checkout, 2 – 3 cashiers in regular checkout along 1 – 2 in contractor checkout. No one to help you find items in the store. Once you find your stuff it is breeze to checkout.
Westlakes Ace Hardware while higher has more help out in the store and registers.

This place is ok, but its very small. The prices are usually pretty good, but if given the choice I would go to the Lowes that’s nearby

I just went to this store with my parents. They are building a house and worked with John in the kitchen design department for cabinets for the kitchen. They already drug me to DKB and they had a custom guy come out to the house but they didn’t like their ideas. I could tell they were very happy with what John came up with. Super nice guy. I’m wondering how Home Depot snagged him instead of the cabinet place. Lucky for me my parents found him. Really tired of spending my life talking about cabinets :)

I had a great experience at this Home Depot. My son needed to build a project for 4H and my husband was out of town. The staff was very helpful and patient with us. They helped us read the plans, get the wood cut out and find all the supplies we needed.

I choose home depot over the others most of the time when looking for building materials and anything to do with my home. But when it comes to the garden section they are lacking compared to other local stores

I cannot get them to take my money no matter how hard I try nor how long I wait. This store is clearly under staffed, under motivated, and poorly trained. The management of Home Depot in Columbia Missouri has failed. They need to be replaced.

Everyone’s been to a Home Depot and knows what they’re about, so I’m not going to go into it as it’s a pretty standard Home Depot. The reason I wanted to review it is because it’s the first HD I’ve been to where the employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Every other one I’ve been to I’ve had to search for an employee, and then when I found one they never knew anything about my question. But here, there were plenty of employees and every one of them asked if I needed help. When I did, they took the time to answer all my questions (knowledgeably) or show me to the place I needed to go. I was just really impressed to I wanted to acknowledge that awesome customer service! Go here if you’re doing a project and need some help.

Home Depots always seem to be ht or miss – sometimes you find someone to help you navigate the ocean of DIY stuff and sometimes you just drift around til you are marooned in a section that might have what you need. This one actually had an Ahab to help guide us on our quest for a few yard essentials. Assistance can really make all the difference when you are avoiding the Moby Dick of retail shopping. And if you win that battle, stop by QT on the way out and have a drink! Diet Dr. Pepper always makes my voyage a little more rewarding!
