Poor selection. Woodley’s is best and, after that, Lowe’s.

I bought all new appliances in may, the microwave was on back order so we had to wait 2 weeks for our initial delivery, the driver damaged the refrigerator so they took it back and said they would bring a new one the following week since that only delivered to newberry on Thursday, when I opened the rest of the boxes everything was damaged except the microwave, I called the store to inform them and they said they would send new ones with the refrigerator, I installed the microwave and guess what, it didn’t work, didn’t even light up! So another call and a promise to replace it, so the next Thursday came and went with no appliances, called again and the manager said the company delivery truck broke down and promised that next Thursday they would be there, well it’s next Thursday and you guessed it no appliances, so another call to the manager and this time they didn’t have room in the truck for my appliances, REALLY! Mine should of been the first ones loaded or with all the problems how about a special trip to save a customer! I’m returning what’s left and I will never spend another dime at any Home Depot again! This is a review of their kitchen interior design, specifically in regards to countertops. My husband and I are building an island in our kitchen and want our island granite to match the rest of our granite counters. We went to Home Depot on Sunday night around 6 or 7 to pick out some backsplash tile and order the 3×5 granite slab we need for our island. The person who helped us (Connie) said it wasn’t her department and didn’t know how to order countertops, but said we should take home a sample to make sure that it matched. Okay, cool. We came in kinda late to a store in the Bible Belt, I get it. Not a problem. She said the interior designer Lisa would be there at 8am on Monday (Labor Day).
My husband was going to order the slab online, but it’s more of a hassle to order something like that online vs. in person. Plus we wanted to get his military discount. He went into Home Depot today without me and tried to order the slab. Umm… Apparently they don’t let you order anything unless it’s over $ 750?! I find that hard to believe. My husband said that the woman helping him today said she was new but she knew that no orders could be done under $ 750. It doesn’t say that anywhere in the store or online.

Who expects an excellent shopping trip on Black Friday? But that is what I got today on my visit to store #1112 on Fernandina Road. Anthony Collins showed me where my items were located, answered all my questions, explained the many options I had in case everything didn’t fit in my car… it was the best customer service! The entire experience was a pleasure. The store was clean, organized, well signed and the team was so pleasant and helpful! Amazing store and shopping experience!
