I love this place! It is quiet, there is plenty to do and it is free. There is fishing, hiking, swimming, dirt biking, camping, etc. They even rent canoes.

Pleasantly surprised by this local gem. This is a large recreational area with fenced off areas for small, large and all dogs. Each fenced in area has a lake complete with little frogs. There are benches and plenty of places to walk. There are also restrooms and water fountains throughout the park. No swimming when lifeguard isn’t on duty. There is also a seasonal dog park section.

This is a great dog park! Many of the regulars are really friendly and have nice dogs. The dog park is fenced in and HUGE. There’s a big lake and a nice trail that goes around it. Theres a connection to the MKT and a nature reserve. There’s also a small water park area and a pavilion for events. A really nice spot!

VERY Fun place to bring young kids. My son had a blast here at age 4 – 5. Older kids might get bored. They have small water slides, and plenty of areas to play in the shallow water. We got a 10-​use pass, which made visiting more economical. They let you bring in your own picnic stuff, if you want to make a day of it.
