This is a good apartment complex, hands down. The management is honest, up front, and they work with you to correct maintenance issues. The location is VERY good, right in the Vista area so you can walk to pretty much anything you would like be it food, stores, the river walk, etc. There IS a train station right next to the complex, which can be loud at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly, plus the apartments themselves are pretty well insulated. A strange thing that we DID notice is that none of the main rooms have light fixtures installed. Both bedrooms, and the living room, have switches that are obviously FOR a fixture, but they do not exist. This is kind of a pain, since it left us in the dark quite literally for the first day or so until we found some lamps that we liked. I would suggest getting an apartment facing the city since the view is much better, but you would also be right next to the tracks, so if you are startled easily, you may want a building across the parking lot. Security is good, there are gates to get in and you need an electronic key card to access the parking lot, gym(treadmills, weight machine, bench, elliptical) and the laundry room(there is space in the apartments for washer /dryer, don’t have to be stacked). Overall, the price is decent, the location is GREAT, and they are pet friendly!
