I live in Hawaii and the Walmarts in Hawaii are nothing like the ones on the mainland. A few might come close. .. ok, not really. .. Main differences: 1. Size: Walmarts on the mainland(like this one) are HUGE!!! Our girls spent most of the shopping trip shouting to hear their echos. 2. Not Crowded: I think we saw less than 10 other shoppers while we were there. Our Walmarts are typically ALWAYS crowded. And the combination of big crowds in smaller spaces equals frustration. 3. Relatively well stocked and organized. 4. Prices. Everything is so much cheaper.

not open 24 hours, despite what their website says.

Not much different from any other Wal-Mart although I was particularly impressed with the pharmacy staff here. We needed some medicine for our child and they really went the extra mile for us. I have had some less than stellar experiences with Wal-Mart pharmacies in the past but these guys did great.

Not far from the intersection of Interstates 20 and 26, so be very aware of your surroundings. This is an urban Wal-Mart. Otherwise, it’s got all the features and stock one would expect. It is a Supercenter, so in addition to groceries, they have toys, jewelry, clothing, automotive, etc. I was just popping in for some groceries to stock my hotel room for the week and it was late at night, so I didn’t have a huge opportunity to interact with the associates. The people I did see were what I expect of a Wal-Mart associate away from Bentonville — no ten foot rule and no greeting. Bummer. My cart had one broken wheel. Typical.
