POOR SERVICE! Every time we go there NO ONE says hi to us, but they are super friendly to the middle-​age white people. I don’t understand since we look yuppish and have the funds to buy items here. We are registered here for our wedding yet they are still unhelpful. Not sure why WS does not do anything about their poor service. Get your act together!

Ya know that feeling you get when you encounter someone who you know is inherently evil? That’s how I felt when I met the manager of this store, JENNY, who sold me a defective Japanese chef’s knife during the Christmas shopping season, and then refused to accept my return. Despite having been told when I bought the knife that I could return it, Jenny tried using the store’s policy against me, to try to make me go away, to make me accept that I had purchased an expensive and defective knife at full price.
***As a side note, I’ll add that I witnessed Jenny berating one of her seasonal employees RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS over a very forgivable and honest mistake. This episode confirmed my initial suspicions that Jenny is in fact, evil.
After arguing and actually showing her that the knife was not only scratched, but BENT, she gave me lousy store credit for the knife.
Bottom line: I like Williams and Sonoma’s products, but Jenny convinced me to order products online instead of giving her store the credit for my purchases. Good job, Jenny, I won’t be back (except to window shop… I won’t be actually buying anything)
