Pretty solid froyo place. A good selection of flavors, lots of toppings. Sometimes I find the yogurt a little icy/grainy, but not all of the time. I like that they leave sample cups out so you can try the yogurt before choosing what you want. The family that runs it is also very friendly.

I’ve actually been looking forward to reviewing these guys. So I ended up at YogiCup with the finomcee thanks to a Groupon purchased a few months back. Enter: an empty, bubblegum poppy, fluorescently-lit, Ikea-furnished space with Top 40 music playing on the speakers. Not at all my kind of scene, but pretty spot-on appropriate for a froyo joint. The owner’s daughter was running the shop and in a very enthusiastic and friendly way, encouraged us to sample all the flavors. Cake batter, red velvet, sea salt pretzel caramel, sweet coconut were all outstanding. Like, way above average as far as frozen yogurt goes. What stood out about YogiCup’s flavors were how accurate they were to what they were expressing, but in a non-artificial way. One of the reasons I’ve never really cared for froyo is because of how fake and contrived a lot of flavors can tend to be(*cough* Tutti Frutti *cough*). These guys somehow get it right. To boot, they have an impressively diverse toppings bar which is very clearly well kept, maintained, and stocked with a wide variety of very appealing options. The freshness of such items as the ripe fruit, brownie, bites, and cheesecake bites, among others is very apparent in both taste and appearance. Mochi? Nutella? Fruity pebbles? Mocha syrup? All available, and then some. In terms of price, I’d say they’re about standard and on par with other froyo places. Obviously the froyo and toppings are exceptional, but if that weren’t enough, the family running the shop are genuinely sweet and friendly. YC is not a chain, and when you meet this nice family and try their wonderful wares, you won’t be able to help yourself but support this darling small business. They also seem to be savvy with social media(and will hopefully read this review) and encouraged us to like them on Facebook, where they provide regular updates with new and returning flavors, and encouraged us to submit flavor suggestions(Bananas Foster and Thai Iced Coffee please!) I’ll gladly be going back for more.

The froyo is delicious, great selection of flavors and toppings and the owners are the nicest, friendliest people… which can be a little elusive in Columbia… I’m just sayin’… I really hope they make it through the inevitable, froyo wars that are being battled in Howard County as this has become our regular go-to spot for an after dinner treat.

Bought a groupon to try this place. My daughter had a blast filling the heck up out of the biggest cup and putting in all the toppings. She didn’t come close to finishing it all. Our son doesn’t usually eat frozen yogurt but ate all of his portion. I liked the flavors. I’m a big peanut butter cup fan and while they did have them(the little mini ones) I would have preferred the bigger ones, just crushed up. The family that runs the place were very nice. We’d definitely return.

I’d give this place a little more than 3 stars, but we’re hampered by the 5-star system here. We brought the whole family by this place last night. It was nice: exactly what you need in a frozen yogurt place. The decore is IKEA-ish(we recognized the couch) and the service was friendly. The whole family agreed that however they did it, the flavors at this place actually tasted exactly like what they were supposed to be(i.e. cookies and cream tasted like the real thing, red velvet, fruit, etc). They had a reasonable selection of yogurt and toppings and a lot of space to stretch out and enjoy it. What else could you want from a frozen yogurt place? This place gave me the vibe of a small nice small business and I’m kinda partial to supporting them. The next time I’m in the area I’ll be swinging by again and getting some red velvet yogurt with captain crunch sprinkled on top.

I am fan, this is my least favorite place to be. This place kinda and boring, have not much place to seat down to eat, not much of selections. The frozen yogurt is not that great, not much of topping. It could be better. The staff are nice and friendly.

Visited 7/5-Can I say I feel in love with the red velvet yogurt!!! I actually had to force my self to not stop by, Could become addicting. The red velvet is definitely one of my favorites! I also tried the cheese cake, which was pretty good as well. At my list visit, the place was full with young high school students goofing off.(Think they were friends with the young guy working the register. Kinda made for a not fun experience. The only think I can say compared to other yogurt shops is they do not have their toppings labeled.

Being this is the newest yogurt place in Columbia and I’m obsessed with yogurt I of course had to check it out. I think the yogurt itself is better than tutti frutti, creamy and delicious, but the toppings are definitely not as extensive. They didn’t even have peanut butter cups! When they first opened they didn’t even have mochi but thankfully the last time I was there they had some out. Phew!

My preferred Columbia fro-yo place. –Good mix of flavors, including non-fat and low fat varieties as well as sherbet(sorbet? I never know the difference). I’ve been there twice and I’d say at least 6 of the flavors were different the second time. –They have small sample cups and sample spoons so you can try flavors –Great customer service! I had filled my cup up with original tart, but it was a little melty. When I walked over to fill up my toppings, the guy noticed the consistency of my yogurt, he told me to wait and went to the machine immediately to fix the settings and improve the consistency — which only took about a minute! –Good variety of toppings –Open til 11 pm(not 10 like most places) –Bright lighting, plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors –If your cup weighs 10 oz exactly, you get your dessert for FREE!(I haven’t come close to this, but I’m sure there are many who could!) Great place. I’ll be back for sure!

Compared to some of the frozen yogurt places that are opening up elsewhere, Yogicup is a little on the boring side: no flat screen HDTV’s with games playing, and their froyo choices are a little on the small side. The toppings bar is average in size, with enough healthy and not so healthy choices, like fresh fruit and crushed oreos. But what really matters to me is obviously the froyo itself, and that was very good. I would have liked to see more popular choices for flavors like cake batter, which was noticeably absent(or even a vanilla). But, most places rotate their flavors so perhaps this was available prior. When I came in today, they told me that they just added cappuccino which sounded great, but I went with my favorite, cookies and cream. I’ll be back here, but I’m anxious to try out other froyo places around the area as well.

This was a pleasant on an otherwise unpleasant evening in which I was not able to swallow without wincing a little bit. While desperately searching for an urgent care in order to find out what the heck was wrong with my throat and getting very annoyed that Concentra’s «Urgent» care is only open 8 – 5 Monday through Friday(and making this a very long run on sentence…), we came upon Yogicup. The girls working there were pleasant and helpful giving their suggestions and unlike some places, the sample cups were easily accesible. My daughter got the kiwi strawberry which was delicious and made even more so after adding the real thing as her topping. I got the cookies and cream with raspberries(gotta show a little restraint). I liked that one as well and it wasn’t too sweet. All in all, it numbed the pain for just a little bit and since my doctor later prescribed ice cream for my aches, I am even more glad I stopped in.
