THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Horrible customer service when you call in. Had them for 3 months and my system goes off randomly. Been out to fix and 45 mins later goes off again while we wtach TV. You call in they put you on hold for over 20 mins because you complain. One person tells you one thing then another tells you something else. They do not document issues. Just stay away from them if you can. If I could give zero stars I would.

There is no way to try it before you commit to an agreement. The service is mediocre at best. When you try to cancel, you are locked into your contract for three years. The termination fee is 75% of the remainder of your contract. Time Warner Intelligent Home is the way to go if you need a good security system. You are wasting your money with ADT. Don’t say you have not been warned.

Yikes. Been a customer since 2007. Been under two company mergers since that time. This last merger into ADT as a whole has proven me unhappy today.
Tried logging on to put up my travel notes on dates I’m out of town so ADT is extra aware of who to contact if anything goes on, etc. Since the merger no longer can we update our own travel notes. We have to call to report in the details from a rep who may or may not accurately take down our information. Yikes. Every customer has a security passcode that is highly confidential we have to share with the rep upon our call. problem is when you sign in online you can’t make your own travel notes any longer but your passcode is SCREAMING IN BOLD letters across the middle of your screen where your email internet connectivity can be compromised at anytime.
Not well planned ADT. Went with Broadview in 2007 because I didn’t care for ADT Operations. Today I can see nothing has changed? Makes me sad. :(
