I call Aldi’s «the German high efficiency grocery store». No fancy shelving, they just stack the boxes the stuff comes in. Bring your own bags or use a box from the store displays because it costs you money to buy plastic grocery bags at this store. Also bring a quarter for the shopping cart(you get that back when you are done). The prices are good, cheaper than Kroger. The food, well, not fancy for sure. But bananas are bananas(and about 10 cents a pound cheaper). Good for some stuff, not so for others. Sometimes they have great non food stuff cheap(like dog beds). Glad it’s there, but certainly not my regular grocery store.

This place is pretty nice. The prices are low, you get a good value for your money. Most of the items are ALDI brand or made for ALDI. They do have a few special purchases of name brand items. I love that a couple weeks ago I got a 350 thread count cotton satin king sheet set for only $ 15 on clearance. I have a queen mattress but for $ 15 I could not beat the price. The sheets feel so good. I go to this store if I want to stock up on certain things like can and boxed goods. I can say they have some of the best imported chocolate I have ever tasted for low prices. Their produce is the lowest prices in town. Now 3 stars cause you have to pay for baskets, $ 0.25 you get it back it you return cart. Then bags are $ 0.10 to $ 2., it matters if you want paper, plastic, reusable or recyclables. This particular store is a good one to go to. It is not usually crowded I can get in and out with no problems. The staff is friendly.
