I love this place so much and will never go anywhere else! :) Everyone here is so nice, friendly & very helpful. :) I bought new car battery & windshield wipers here and they even installed them for me with no charge. :)

Great, speedy service… And Joe changed my headlight bulb for me– I barely had to ask! Maybe it is because I’m a woman, but I appreciated that he knew he could easily do it and do it quickly for me.

on my first visit to this location, Heidi went above and beyond to help me install my new wiper blades… in the freezing cold! and she even cut off the duct tape i had holding my broken blade on with. She was so nice and helpful! On my most recent second visit, Joe (the store manager?) came out in the ever present freezing cold of Columbus to test my battery and then carry it in and even offered to charge it up to see if it is a good battery.
2 great experiences here, so even though there is a auto zone closer to my house, i will drive the extra distance because Heidi and Joe have been incredible!

Columbus Zoo is awesome. Coming out of the zoo at closing time to find a car with a dead battery that won’t start? Not awesome. Having a tired toddler with you at the time who really needs to go home, have dinner and get to bed ASAP? Also not awesome.
But you know who is completely awesome? Heidi who works at Auto Zone on Hamilton Road in New Albany/​Gahanna. I called the place in a panic after having my car jumpstarted by a kind stranger. Told them I was rolling their way and would need help finding a battery and getting it put in ASAP. They had the battery ready for me when I got there, charged my card and then put the battery in for me for free. Heidi didn’t even want to take a tip, but I insisted because she REALLY hooked me up.
Thanks to Heidi at Auto Zone for helping this tired toddler mama to get on home fast — you rock! Happy ending to a stressful evening.
