I’ve always loved the bagels, coffee and service– but today I had a BURRITO. Yes, a Burrito. Who would think that a Bagel Joint would make a good Burrito? Well let me tell you that this was the BESTBURRITO that I have eaten in New Jersey in my LIFE. It is comparable to Burritos I’ve eaten in California– they must have someone with some serious Mexican know-how in the kitchen. EXCEPTIONAL– I hope this situation remains for a while, because I will be back once per week!

Bagelissimo is a great locally owned place for breakfast and lunch sandwiches! It’s in the end of a shopping center(strip mall) off of 206 and is my go-to place for breakfast bagels(sausage and egg on everything) or lunch(Classic Italian) when I’m in the area. Definitely worth going to when you are near by.

As far as bagels go, they’re great!(That’s all I get from here.) The French toast bagels are a favorite. This is a nice little place to stop by to grab a quick lunch or snack.

I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised with the bagel choices they offered. The jalapeño cheddar is my favorite so far. The next day I went to another more popular bagel shop and I ended up only picking out a few because the choices were unimpressive. The bagels at Bagelissimo are crispy on the outside and airy soft on the inside. I’m not a fan of dense bagels you can only eat one of. This place is well worth a shot, but go EARLY they sell out of bagels quick!

This is my favorite bagel place in South Jersey. Under the new management the service is probably the best out of any restaurants I go to in the area as well. Even my friends from NYC that are bagel snobs love this place. There’s no justification to give this place a one star review. It’s borderline slander.

I am a bagel fanatic. The bagels here are homemade, fresh, and have substance. Not like the rubbery bagels at hilltop. These have crust, a bit of a crisp crunch and a nice dough underneath. Their everything bagels are TOP notch as are the onion, and salt. The others are good too, but these three are stand-outs for me. I have had their sandwiches too, short hogie, again crisp crusted bread with substance. It ain’t no wonderbread wawa dough. It’s that artisan kind that is hard to find. The Spicy italian is always good though they will custom make one for you. I don’t «get» the poor to average reviews. I am guessing they are looking for wawa corporate mass produced products and have never had good homemade before. I work nearby and stop in relatively frequently. I always grab my neighbor an Egg ham and mayo on a well toasted sesame bagel… by that alone, they know who I am, and know too I am not an employee.

There is a difference between a bagel and a dense hard bread with a hole in it.

I would completely agree with fellow Unilocaler Stewart on this one. Living in the area I was here a few times at first but nothing has overwhelmed me for being top notch. The subs are just ok. The cheesesteaks are on a hard bread. Italian hot dogs arent bad but not enough meat on ‘em. Their trademark bagels arent bad either, but definitely not great. Its just. ok. Been back a few times over the year or two, but not all to much. They could make some improvements but not sure if they will.

Probably the coolest thing about this place is the name. Passing it on my way to the turnpike day after day, my curiosity of wanting to know whether it’s bagel joint or some Italian specialty word got the best of me. To answer the great mystery for others, it a bagel joint with a case full of Italian cold cuts… the bagels are okay, the meats are standard deli meats, not much else to add.
