Belloo’s Martini and Cigar Bar

Great drinks but it was too smokey. I couldn’t breathe. They really need better ventilation.

Great place. Kay’s always been here the two times I’ve come, and she makes a mean martini as well as being a great listener and conversationalist. The drinks are a little pricey ($ 10 martini) but very strong, and they have happy hour specials.
I’ve only been here for the live music on one Friday, but it was fantastic. Also, a side note, but the music that they play here (when there isn’t live music) is a good mix. This would be a great place to grab a drink with a friend or two when you just want to relax and talk, rather than go to a club or something.
I like this place so much that I’m being selective about who I tell about it. :)

Came here during the weekday after work. Never smoked a cigar before thought I would give it ago. The bartender was easy going and helped me with the whole smoke thing. Great atmosphere and comfy chairs as a cherry on top. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because they was out of Hendricks gin.

I love this place! Feels like the bars I enjoyed in the eighties. Great vibe, great drinks and a great bartender who is not one of those trendy, snooty bartender wannabes. Kay’s the real thing, she makes a good, strong and pretty drink.

Great place for grown ups who don’t want to be in a college hang-​out. The atmosphere is awesome, they have live bands and the top shelf is great. The staff is very welcoming and they make you feel right at home. We always have the same server and she is always prompt and courteous. There’s a cover charge which is not a lot but can deter others from finding out that is worth the $ 5. If you don’t like the smell of cigars then is likely you won’t like it, since is the only cigar bar in town, for me is great since I enjoy one every time I visit. The cigars can be a bit pricey but you can always bring your own. Wish they would bring back the dress code, it would make it clasier and it makes the night more elegant.

I am SO SURPRISED! Belloo’s is a gem in Columbus. I was not expecting to be be in a place like this when a group of my friends said ¨Let’s go to a Cigar Bar down the street¨ after we left a military ball from the Iron Works across from the Marriott.
When we got there, they treated us great because we were in uniform, so they took us up to the elevated VIP area with comfy chairs which afforded us prime access to the stage where the band was playing. This band was ON POINT. I could not believe how great they were! They were a cover band, but the energy they had was so contagious and the skill they had on their instruments was very apparent.
I do not drink alcohol, so I was not paying attention to the alcohol prices, but apparently they were not bad. The others were drinking martinis and bourbon and beer. I was told that the martinis were on the strong side but the bourbon was delicious. I was surprised to see the bill when they did not charge me for my cranberry juice and sprite mixture, I thought that was very sweet of them.
The ambiance was nice. The crowd was a good mix, but everyone was bopping their head to the music because it was amazing.
Kudos to Belloo’s, they have a good thing going.

Great place… mellow, but not not too mellow. Great bourbon… Kind servers, comfy chairs… Exactly what you want after dinner at the epic restaurant. Make this your final spot to cap a great evening… great, friendly staff.

They are kidding with there cover charge and no hat policy. There in Columbus, GA not VEGAS OR MIAMI.

Nice place for a cigar and a cocktail. Dark, nightclub type atmosphere. Mostly an upper class crowd. Free wifi.
Live band several nights a week. Some snack foods but not a place for a real meal.
Very good martinis. Other cocktails well made if not too complex. I was disappointed on my most recent visit that they were out of Hendricks gin.
They have cigars but not much of a list. I’d recommend bringing your own.
Staff is friendly and efficient. Also helpful in making cigar recommendations to newbies.

This is by far my favorite bar in Columbus. I brought my parents when they came to town and we had a blast! There was a great band playing and we danced all night? Great drinks, pretty good cigar selection and a very chill atmosphere. I highly recommend Belloo’s for anyone looking for a good bar that is NOT filled with college kids.

I am consistently impressed by Belloo’s.
It’s as friendly as its song-​singing Disney namesake. And as consistent as an elephant’s memory.
Kay is the most wonderful bartender in this town, and the only one who gives a shit about YOU. Everyone else will pretend they’re your biggest fan, but they’re trolling for tips. Here, they want you to think it’s a classy place. It is.
My only criticism is that they don’t seem to change up their beer selection too often. As a beer snob, that will always bother me, but there are plenty of places in Columbus to get decent beer. It’s the martini’s and cigar-​friendly atmosphere that really make this place special. The music is usually good, if albeit a tad loud, but I’m old…

I went here with my mom and sister and had a wonderful time. The drinks were good and the bartenders were very nice. I enjoyed myself and even had a grape cigar. I’ve never had a cigar before but thought well «when in Rome» (: I would definitely go back

Great live music and good old fashioned’s

This place still has the special vibe that I love – even after 2 — 3 years. The Columbus military-​town feel that smells of desperation (both on the part of the military guys and of the few females cruising them).
The house band was really good and general table service wasn’t too slow. What I really love is the fact that you can order a nice bourbon and smoke a cigar here.
Highly recommended as a first drink stop-​over bar – or even a place to spend the evening if you are with friends and want a live band and martinis experience.

This is little place is a hidden gem in Columbus that really surprises me. I wouldn’t say it’s the classy place that some make it out to be there were a lot of sloppily drunk people here like you would find on say Broadway but the atmosphere is definitely higher class and the live music is a definite change of pace from the ‘party bands’ that are in the other clubs/​bars. The martinis here are very good, but pricey, even more so than even a lot of the fancy martinis I’ve had in say Chicago or Atlanta add a cover and well, yikes it can be a pretty steep night here. However, the added cost really does thin out the young, let’s get wasted crowd-​after all with prices like this drinking in high volumes is kind of discouraged, but the drinks themselves are really quite good. I got the Naughty Martini and the Berry white, which were both tasty but packed a pretty good punch. My friends enjoyed their martinis as well, particularly the double chocolate one and we agreed that we would come back next weekend as well as a nice respite.
If they had some martini specials that lowered the cost of some of the drinks I would probably kick this place up to 5 stars, until then it’s a solid four.

I have been to Balloo’s a couple of times because I love a good martini. It is placed in a classic part of dowtown Columbus with a real classy feel to it. The music is always good, live and loud during the weekends. Martinis are good but they come at a VERY steep price.
This would be a great place to take someone on a first date or go out and celebrate an event with some friends. The only downsides are that it is top dollar, crowded and the bathroom situation is a bit limited. P. S. Where a collared shirt and the cigars are good!
