Black Lotus

The first tattoo I received in the Columbus area was at Ink 66. The vibes I got were kind of mixed, and the piece I got done could’ve been done better. Needless to say, I wasn’t too impressed. Then I moved on to Black Lotus. So far I’ve received a septum piercing, and three tattoos… One of those tattoos being a coverup of the piece I got done at Ink 66. Out of all the tattoo shops I’ve been to, I have to say I like Black Lotus the best. Also, at one of my most recent sessions I was told that the artists are trying not to schedule any appointments on Saturdays unless they have to, that way they can focus on taking walk-​ins. I highly recommend.

I scheduled an appointment a month in advanced with Tania with a deposit. I was told before the appointment she would contact me to show me the work. I called the shop, she was not their, I was concerned because it had been two weeks and I haven’t heard from her, also I never received a call from her. I called a day after my appointment to see what was going on, because I never heard from anyone. I was thinking that maybe something happened and it was a honest mistake. As soon as i asked about my appointment time, the man who answered the phone checked with Tania. She claimed she called one time and left a message. I asked the guy on the phone what number did she call from, he said the store. I have no missed calls or any voice message from any person at the Black Lotus. I even checked my online phone account. It was alarming the lack of customer service. Because she said she called but can not provide any proof that she did, the man on the phone dismissed my claim as no show no call… I am confused, I paid the deposit and was told I would be contacted with in a week. She claims she called a week before the appointment one time that I made over a moth ago, which again they cant provide proof. What is wrong with saying I forgot to contact you, I am sorry can we reschedule.
I have gotten work done from there and sent many people there. I will not any more! The customer service sucks!

I left my number with Seth and he called me the next day. We set an appointment for that night and when I showed up he was too busy to see me and had the front desk guy send me away. He couldn’t even come out to meet me after setting an appointment with me. THANKS A LOT JERK!!! Still havn’t heard back from him. Guess he doesn’t need my business. He might be a good artist but his business ediquette and professionalism are NON-​EXISTANT. I wouldn’t waste your time, so don’t waste mine.

Black lotus is a great shop. Adam did an awesome job and he didn’t make me listen to death metal once!

Black Lotus is hands down the best tattoo shop in the area. It is locally owned and operated by an awesome female artist who has been in the business for many years. They also boast the best piercer in the area and the shop is new, clean and professionally run. All of the artists are friendly and always available to help design the perfect piece of art for you.
