I live in the Northeast so I had to work with Bloomwood without ever visiting their location or knowing anyone else who used them. I worked with them via email and telephone so that my bouquet would be ready when I arrived in Columbus. The team used my inspiration photos to come up with a few ideas for me to choose from. They sent photos back of what they could create and called me to discuss the types of flowers that would be available. They were easy to work with and responsive. The responsiveness was very important to me and I appreciated it. When I finally arrived in Columbus I went to visit the shop the day before my flowers were to be ready and I smiled. The small shop was filled to the brim with happy customers, happy workers, beautul flowers and plants and smelled amazing. They showed me the progress of my bouquet and gave us(me, mom, and sis) single stemed roses on our way out. Great customer service! My father was a small business owner and I try to support that model when I can. Although it’s common today to do business via web, mobile, etc. For me, it’s still nice to know that the business behind the email is a local one that takes an interest in each customer.

Kim creates the prettiest arrangements in town! Everything I have ever seen from her store is gorgeous! The only florist I use!

Went out of our way to be there at 1:30 on a Saturday and the doors were locked tight. Wouldn’t recommend then and frustrating.

I gave 2 stars because the flowers were pretty, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. They set up your flowers, but you are expected to drop all the vases, votives, candelabras back off after your wedding. They left the boxes at the reception without instructions on how to return the items. The number of items we had outnumbered the boxes so we disassembled the candelabras to fit in the boxes. When retuning the items Kim Nelson said we weren’t suppose to break them down and she was going to charge us $ 35/hour to put them back together.(After paying thousands of dollars for the flowers.). My dad sat in the back and put them back together. You can get pretty flowers from many places in town, but how you treat your customers really sets you apart from others. I was disappointed and will not be recommending Bloomwoods, nor will I be supporting them in the future. Update: As to the response posted, I have text messages between Kim Nelson(the owner) and myself. I will gladly share our story if anyone is interested, please contact me.
