Dreadful. Most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever had. The chicken tastes horrible, no matter what sauce was on it. The noodles tasted like they came from a can and we’re just dumped onto the food. The only thing palatable was the rice. Save your taste buds and money and go somewhere else. It is VERY rare for me to not finish the food I buy — but I absolutely couldn’t do it this time.

I need to write a quick update that was less than fortunate. I got lunch here the other day because I found mold on the ham sandwich I brought, and I needed a new lunch. As mentioned previously, I work close to the Eastland Mall. I was happy to get one meat and one side(I chose General Tso’s Chicken and Lo Mein) for $ 5. The food was its usual taste of mall Chinese good and bad at the same time, but I had one piece of General Tso’s that was UBER under cooked. So much so that I could not chew it properly. And I was so focused on my work day and all the crap I had to do that before I noticed that I couldn’t chew this, I swallowed it. I ended up choking for a good eight seconds(felt like an eternity), before I could force it up with heaving. My throat hurt from the heaving the rest of the day. The problem though: would I go back to Cajun Express? Yes. Yes, I still would. I never learn. :-P

First off, not cajun, not by a long shot. This is a chinese place, chinese workers, chinese food. Now, even with the chinese I decided to give it a try, what a mistake. That had to be the work fast chinese I’ve had, the chicken was way to fatty. I don’t even feel like writing more thinking about it, just avoid this place if you’re at eastland.
